Not really happy with the result.
Sure Boom did very well and fought for the race win.
But I had prefered if Boom keeps a safe podium (which it isn`t with Schumacher and Posthuma, even though most likely he stays on it).
And in addition LL Sanchez was supposed to attack again for a good stage result and another top10 GC. He might maximum climb one two spots now.
Still a very good race for me and eventually helps in the relegation fight.
Thanks for the report SN! |

Puusepp
I knew he would be useful at some point, but after his weak performances throughout the year I started thinking about not renewing his contract, this result may just change that thought again...
Ignas and Tomas still withing the top 25, which is good for a team like mine.

Phew! Not the most convincing hold on the yellow jersey, but thanks to work from other teams Fab keeps yellow going into the 'epilogue'.
Obviously Rothaus could have done with a win, but still this has been a strong race by them. I notice Vueling have been nowhere is it possible they are being dragged into the mud fight?
Meanwhile hoping Fab can rubber stamp GC with a chrono win, he has just the one race after this at the team chrono - could be his last in red bull colours so stage 8 could be his last individual effort for us. Cmon Fab do us proud once more!

Well raced stage from my team. Pozatto climbing and Pineau (Maybe he dosen't know he wont get renewed anyway?) grabbing a nice result. Hopefully the short TT wont cost Pozatto too much.
Glad to see Rothaus doing well, really hope Roturn somehow manage to get the team to stay up.
Easy win for Fab now, congratz Smowz. (He got to crash, and I believe it is impossible to crash in a PCM-TT?)

Alternatively, one last hurrah on the big stage before shuffling off to the retirement home! Not bad for a run down 34 year old.
The relegation battle between yourself and Roturn is certainly compulsive viewing; shame that (unlikely) that both teams can survive. Either squad in next years PCT will be a scary over-powered prospect.
Good luck to both. I can't decide on a personal favourite as my natural instinct is to support the underdog, so swings back and forth; as long as the disbanding team in your midst finishes in a relegation place as is now beginning to look more likely rather than the disaster scenario of both (very) active teams finishing in relegation.

Also - forgot to say. Really enjoyed the report had me completely on the edge of my seat for obvious reasons. I was literaly scrolling down one line at a time and when it was revealed Cancellara had held onto the jersey there was a Eureka moment.

Been following this race from the sideline, and I'm quite pleased Kuznetsov managed to pick up the KoM here, think this is his second best result of the season (Qatar). Will hopefully be very valuable for me next season.

What are you talking about? Boom did great in my opinion. He gained a place in the GC and it's very very unlikely that he will lose it. Schumacher is a worse time - trialist and Posthuma is way too far behind for such a short distance.

Boom is doing good indeed.
Just had hoped for a better stage result. Roux is far down in GC and could have attacked. Though he had to work, which means, I am happy with him staying in the peloton.
But I had high hopes that LLS would gain time on all those ~70 puncheurs as he is 9 stats higher. Then he could have gotten something in the top10 as well.
And I really need more than just good scoring if I want to stay in the division, which is why I hoped for more than just a good race, which it definitely is. |

Without LLS' relays I don't think Boom would still be ahead of Schumacher in GC. So if Boom can stay ahead after the TT that is 35 ranking points gained - the equivalent of LLS being 10th rather than 17th.
Of course both doing well would have been ideal for you, but this is PCM we are talking about Pendleton's are quite the anomaly to have 2 in the Top 7.

True indeed.
When I have two in top 15 and one of those in 2nd I will be happy.
Just hoping LLS is having a nice TT.
Not having counted yet, but I really hope to take more than VW and far more than Bouygues and Vueling. |

I've not counted it all up yet either, but I'll have a rankings update out soon after the final stage later.

I'm pretty sure Rothaus is outscoring me here, I just hope that Pozatto winning in Lisbon already saved my season

Thanks for another great report!
And Kruijswijk is continuing to do well He could even end 9th or 8th in the overall classification, which is brilliant considering a top 10 is far more than I expected.
Also nice to see Stake Laengen in the breakaway, hopefully we'll see a lot more of that next season. |

Another beautiful stage. Looks like Spartacus is taking the overall as predicted. It would be nice to see Boom take the lead today so that we could have postponed all the drama to tomorrow though. Congratulations anyway Smowz
Nice to see Kuznetsov holding that polka dot jersey. I'm starting to think that perhaps he should spend another year with us next season.

A great effort by Kittel on the final stage with a 3rd place - hopefully sets him up nicely for a tilt at the German Championship ITT.
Can't complain about the race with 2 great wins for Swift, and even 25th overall for him! Pretty cool for domestique Schlechter to end as high as 31st too.

Kinney's win really makes up for some things here. Van Garderen holding 12th. Was hoping van Garderen was a good result in the TT. Was hoping his group would push on more once they established a gap.
Boom and lls seem to have to have worked well.in my estimation.

Loving such stories like Cancellara podium this race 4/5 times. Pretty outstanding especially given the tricky mix of different stages. Despite some minor issues with the AI, I really liked the dynamic of this race, brought to us through great reports! Glad to see Boom and also Posthuma doing so well.
Boonen truly unlucky and Swift took this unique chance in style. Not sure if Rothaus outscored VW in a way to put some pressure again, but still a great race for roturn.

Congratulations to SRB, their season is just going ridiculously good, but what I'm obviously excited about the most is the imminent rankings update! I really can't estimate how it'll exactly look like.
