Excellent result for me, Lopez Garcia getting in front of the peloton on the day he would lose time. Shame he couldn't win, but jumping a few overall places is nice.

20th in the GC was the absolute minimum here. So at least this was okay.
But without that flat split stage it would have been 16th I think. So a bit unlucky there.
But I think other teams like Volkswagen, ING or Becherovka can`t be very happy neither as the rider -> point ratio is probably worse than mine.
In the end not my best race as also the sprints did not work well for me as I had small top10 hopes with Krieger in that field.
But my 2nd or actually 3rd Top20 in the triple header at least shows some consistency. Not giving many points though. Now I have to hope for Catalunya to deliver quite a few.
Thanks for those reports, Smowz. Very nice read. |

A very good time trial from Stake Laengen, that should bode well for the future
Thanks for all the reports, Smowz, and indeed, it's a massive result for Pendleton's and Martin. It's rather sensational! Congratulations, wackojackohighcliffe! |

Absolutely amazing result, was too scared I'd jinx it to comment after Dan took the lead. So far I love PCM13. Should be a nice points haul with the team category as well. Thanks very much for the reports Smowz, hope you're doing the Giro as well
Unlucky to all the people with genuinely good teams, 85 Mountain is clearly no match for a pink jersey.

Hmm, at least a decent result from TT, but this race is almost a disaster for me...

A race that went way better than what I was expecting in the beginning. Top 10 from Brambilla, top 20 for Van der Velde, top 3 in the teams classification and a few decent stage placings.
Great reports, Smowz!

I dont understand the game mechanics anymore, and two second place finishes in a row doesn't help on the feeling that this race has been an absolutely dissaster. From hugely underperforming on the opening TTT, this teams by far greatest strengh and then see Sicard being distanced due to mostly weird choices from his side..
It can only be better from now on.

Two stagewins makes this race a lot better, but going into the race I always figured that Spilak SHOULD win that final TT, and also the entire race, or atleast get 2nd, and also get 1st, 2nd or 3rd on the mountainstages. So it's still a lot worse than I had hoped for, and should have, but in the end it's not that horrible.
Catalunya seems to be utter shit though, and I kinda hoped for a stagewin there.

I'm just a bit miffed you flogged me Thomas Faiers for an extortionately ludicrous price for him to be then beaten by your very own Tim Kennaugh.
Fact of the day: neither of those riders still actually race due to health/medical problems.

I wanted Faiers as well. After you overbid I went for Gomez Marchante. Older but so far a bit better. |

The race should have been won after Andy took the race lead, but not to be.
Thanks to Smowz for the reports, and congrats to Wacko for the surprise win. It can only be good for the ManGame that weaker riders can still win the big races - its just bad for the managers who have paid more for the better riders, and to see them not deliver as highly as hoped. And in this case that bracket includes me

The very money that helped me train Dan Martin

What a race by Dan Martin. Love seeing him beating the hell out of the top riders as it gives me some hope for Dekker who I know believe has a chance of winning the Tour |
