Prevar higher than Juul-Jensen
No surprise to see Ponzi dominating, perfect route for him.

Poor stage for us there - I think it was one stage too many for our team with the trio of okay GC riders all dropping down riding in together. Also bummed to miss that breakaway really.
Nice to see Ponzi win this I think - he has very little chance of success in hilly classics and historically he seems to love this race. He had a great battle attacked over and over and came back constantly.
Thank you roturn for great and passionate reports

18th and 20th. Not too bad for Roux and Boom.
Add 3 stage podiums and it was actually a good race.
When LLS and Roux also can score as a duo in future races, this would be great.
Ponzi deserved winner here and also good for beagle that they got a bit more out of this race. |

Thanks for the reports roturn, absolutely great.
A little bit disappointed with only 12th here, but with this field I guess it sort of makes sense. Still, 3rd on team classification is a nice little bonus and as always it is just about keeping the points ticking over.

A great final stage from Boasson Hagen! He and Schleck looked to be very close to drop Ponzi for good, but a brave fight from the Italian to keep in touch and win the sprint. Congratulations!
As the race played out, I'm happy with 2nd. Hopefully that should give us some points, but we're still lacking a win this season. Levarlet also looked good, being just behind the best riders.
And thanks for some very nice reports, roturn. I enjoyed the amount of text in them, there were always a lot to read |

Also it occurs to me that Bakelants really needed to do better than 4th here to justify the money being spent on him. He will need to have a killer Ardennes week in order to keep Bouygues safe.

What a race by Sagan! In my opinion he overachieved in almost every stage, and an overall result in top 10 is absolutely superb, young jersey was quite expected thing for me, but it is still nice to get it.
Congrats to rjc, I will make sure Sagan is going to challenge Ponzi one day in races like this! And big thanks to roturn, I really enjoyed so detailed reports from every stage.

Moving up to 8th place in last stage is positive, but still I expected better performance from my entire team. I liked fighting spirit of Wallays though, pity he couldn' t stay with his companions until very end.
Congrars to rjc, Ponzi was amazing through whole week. Well deserved win. Thanks to roturn for fast, detailed and very entertaining reporting. Brilliant work!

It's been a great race for Schleck - a pity that the dodgy attack timing cost him a well deserved podium in GC. Very nice stage placings on the final stage though with 4th for him, and in particular Kirsch taking 2nd from the break.
Thanks for the reports roturn

Too bad Vanendert lost 2 places in the final stage. 2nd in the KoM classification for Ruijgh is nice though.
Awesome reports, roturn!

That was amazing.
Brilliant reports, brilliant action, nail biting right up to the last kilometre, loved it.
My first Pro Tour stage race win, and where better to do it than Tirreno-Adriatico? Next stop? Giro!

What a race indeed, but I guess we disagree on your plans...

I had expeced Pozzato to do better being Italian with a good mixture of sprint and hill, but in the end with a nice stage win from Krizek saved the race for me. I love seeing riders like that take stage wins

Hmm, Demare could be well in the mix as well, you are right.

That was somewhat disappointing. Valverde was good enough to make it to top 10, but messed up in the last two stages.
Sinkewitz, good showing, couldn't really expect more from him.
Awesome stage win by Vichot!
Incredibly, Vueling comes away with the team competition... Not sure if that gives any points, but pretty amazing for a promoted team.
