Can somebody tell me why all the new races show up as de GP de Plouay in the race profile? What did I do wrong? |

The races aren't in the right folder.

You have not installed the 2014 DB to the correct folder.
If you have the Steam version, you have to manually change the installation path. In most cases, the correct path is something like C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\Pro Cycling Manager - Season 2013.
If you have the regular version, please check that your installation folder says 'Season 2013'. If it's e.g. 'Saison 2013' or 'Seizonen 2013' or similar, you may have to change the installation path too.

I have the regular version and I've tried to name it both Season and Seizoen but it didnt make any difference. All the jerseys and teams are 2014 so... |

It might be a bit stupid question, but are you sure you have the Expansion Pack installed? (most stages come with the Expansion Pack, while 2014 shirts come in the 2014 DB download - you need both of them).

No doubt that they are overpowered in the 2014 DB - they were unpowered in the Expansion Pack.
Hopefully, we'll be able to hit the right balance in the next version.
Until then, you can use the development files from the Expansion Pack if you like. |

One big question I have, what do people have the evolution slider set to at the start of their careers? With the original game, most people turned this down since Cyanide's young riders were way too strong.

It will not hurt it. Any newly generated young rider will use those (so already made young riders will not change).

I'm searching for the tradtional easier route of Milano - San Remo because the UCI decided a few days ago to change the route again. So in the PCMdaily DB there is the still the more hilly variant of MSR. Can anyone help me? |

Did you rename it to Local.cdb and place it in My Docs/PCM and install folder/Database?
