Nice ride by Guldhammer and good thing he didn't get injured in that crash. Top 15 would be a very good result for him.

Great job by Tenorio in last two stages, it is his race to loose now, Contador will need to switch to crazy attcking mode to win the Vuelta, but there is still many tough days to come.
What is great already, are the reports, top notch quality.

I would prefer him to take a stagewin and a safe 2nd spot in the GC then - I never calculated on him winning the race anyway!

Winning the stage was out of reach anyway, so I'm very happy with Kelderman's ride. That's exactly how I want us to perform.

To bad Roux couldn't really contest the stage win, nice ride nontheless.
As for Ricco, well, he's trying, but the game isn't really allowing anything. I lose about 3 minutes for having 10 less TT stats. Nothing really wrong with that. I'm only gaining 12 seconds on riders who have 10 less hill stats then Ricco. Even my own rider, Sergio Pardilla, who has 76MO/68HI managed to finish with the big pack today.
Let's see how it plays out further, but i doubt i'll be able to make top 5. Atleast i'm hoping for a stage win this time.

Brave try by Haas, happy to see him active.
I can only hope Impey doesn't carry a injury from the crash, luckily he came back to the peloton quickly.
At least that hilly stage saw a small reward to Ricco and Schleck for their attacks, which is nice. It bodes well for aggressive racing from the favourites on the two coming stages.
Thanks for the report, and congrats to UBS-BMC. |

12 seconds on Ricco, Schleck and Cobo, that could have been much worse. Good thing Contador didn't attack for those silly seconds.
I really do hope that he can pull something spectacular out of one of the really tough mountainstages though. Nibali is sitting tight.

If Sanchez isn't even trying in these hilly stages, he'll be lucky to finish in the top 15 overall.

Very nice stage from Oliveira. I didn't expect he could challenge for the win but that is a great performance by him. Congrats Buschwackers, nice win. Great to see Mendes keeping the jersey for another day.

Looks like my domestiques did the perfect job today. I hope they can keep it up for two weeks.

Disappointed we could not get in that break, was a bit surprised the break survived so was caught a bit napping.
As Kami says not great for the hilly men, 12 seconds really is paltry gains against those TT loses. It is looking a bit bleak for Bacardi who have had such an incredible first two years in the ManGame.
Perfect for Santander, though the work they are doing will begin to wear I guess. I still fancy Contador and Machado to put time into Tenorio at some stage they just need to pick their moment!
High quality as ever Count Thanks.

Breakaway was good for Jaguar with a 5th for Teklehaimanot, but if only Dowsett or Froome had got into it after previously being quite aggressive!
Not a great situation for Vesuvio though, as it denies Schleck bonus seconds. At least he defied the game AI to gain something here!

I'm going to be posting the next stage up in the next couple of hours, and I just want to state right now that there won't be a stage up tomorrow because it is my girlfriend's birthday so my time will be spent with her. After that though we will be back to the 1 report per day rate.

Another good report, CountArach. Disappointing to see us not even try for the breakaway. Pendleton's seems to be on a roll now, meaning they could take a lot of points from these clever attacks. Congrats!
And we better participate in the breakaway on stage 9, eventhough it's not likely to hold off a chasing peloton
That final hill might play in the hands of Schleck and Ricco, and they could gain valuable time there.

As good a start as I could have hoped for in this race. Denifl has been stronger than expected in both TT's and solid in the hills/mountains, leaving him well positioned for a top 10.
Goss taking out an early win certainly gives me confidence in his chances at high placings in whichever other stages are actually pulled back together for a sprint. Following Pokerstars seems like a great tactic.

Wow Pendleton's first GTour win! Hard to begrudge them that and definitely spices up the battle in the mid to lower reaches of the Protour.
Really hope my lot are saving themselves, strange nothing attack from Boonratanathanakorn and appreciated the comment Count, you know that is why I bought the guy

Congrats on the win. That was a nice one.
Also Nerz climbing back into contention of a top 15 GC position is nice.
Contador didn't waste any efforts today either. He must surely have some fresh legs to attack soon.
