From zero to Giro - The CCC Polsat Polkowice story
wroblitz
Glad to hear that Iraanius. And when it comes to your question I'm pretty sure that there are guys more acquaint with that like TrueCrue or Lachi. Anyway that's all I could find.

I don't know if that will help you but you can always start the race, press space - check the start list and then quit. You will know who's gonna participate in the race before you designate your own team then.

First of all I want to say that I read your story today and I like it a lot. I am really curious to see the next season and more important the new sponsor.

But I am new to this game and I have a question and maybe you or somebody else could answer. Is possible to see the full start list of a race before you actually play it?

Sorry mate Sad, but you cant see the race start list in 2012 Frown

wroblitz, how do you make that grey and still have colourful rider? I want to make that too Shock

PS: and how did you remove the names above the riders head?

The first thing I do in Photoshop, second is much easier - you just need to press '. Is circle come up instead of name, then just press shift+'.

Finished Tour of Oman just to realize it won't be my best tour this year. Smile Apart from Rutkiewicz finishing 7th in general after becoming 4th on the sole mountain stage there was no success whatsoever (I didn't even win my usuall KoM).
Andre Greipel dominated the flat stages (winning few sprints with 10-15 sec lead) and Klaas Lodewyck wasn't as sharp as he was few weeks earlier in Argentina. His best position was 4th and he ended up 8th in points ranking. On last stage (just after mountain one) I decided to fight for a mountain premium and intermediate sprint with Rutkiewicz as he had the same time as 7th Rui Costa and there was just one decisive mountain sprint for KoM, but I attacked too late for that and was cought up before reaching the intermediate sprint, so he stayed where he was and went home without a red dotted shirt.
I also failed to fulfil my sponsor's goal who was looking for a stage win.

Polsat's train fighting for a win on 2nd stage of Tour of Oman.

Tour of Oman
General: 7th Rutkiewicz
Points: 8th Lodewyck
Mountain: N/A
Young: 7th Kwiatkowski
Team: 7th

I don't have photoshop or patch 1.3.0.0 so yeah... Both'll be a problem.

EDIT: Hoping on better results later this season. You need that new sponsor!

Well, you can always contact me on private message and I can do the Photoshop part for you if you are interested. And where it comes to keyboard shortcuts, I might be mistaking, but I think it doesn't depend on patch, so just give it a try. And yeah, I do need new sponsor, actually waiting for that since day one (which is nearly 4 years now).

Hope you get a nice offer before you go bankrupt, hehe..

I tried the ' key, plus the shift+' thing, neither worked for the names. Circles are fine though..

wroblitz
I won't bankrupt - don't worry. Well basically ' turnes on / off both names and circles. That means if you have names only and you press ' it will remove names but turn on the circles and that's where shift + ' comes in, as it only turn on the other thing. For example if you have names only and press shift + ' it will leave the names and add circles, then you just need to press ' and it will remove both. But in fact you might be right about the patch thing, as I remember it was different before I installed 1.3.0.0. I still have PCM with an old patch on my laptop, so if you won't get answer by then I will check it there. But that will be in 14h time I'm affraid.

I've got good and bad news for you Mithrillian. The bad one is I don't know how to remove names and in fact I don't even know if that's possible at all on 1.2.0.0. But the good one is ctrl+u removes everything and gets it ready for a perfect screenshot. The only thing that you might be left with is circles, but you know already how to remove them, so there's nothing more left but to wish you nice screenshots.

Aha. Ctrl u will suit perfectly. I don't need the name removal during races.

Now back to make your sponspr happy! We want you to get a good offer Smile

Well, apart from Hebik they are pretty weak on flat, but still should be able to last the whole race. What fitness they were for the race? Were you on 70 (effort) or did you increase it later on? Did they completly run out on yellow bars? What level you're playing on? I don't ask about feeding as I'm pretty sure you take care of that.

yes i had to increase effort, and this is first race so they havent much fitness yet, and they completely run of both bars Sad
played on hard

Maybe I have done it wrong with custom fitness and start train it too late (about 2. week of february)

and whole RusVelo team was in same condition as mine, we end very bad...

I didn't have much time to play it lately, but there will be definitely some update tommorow.

Tour de Langkawi was just a little bit kinder to my team than Tour of Oman. However it started very well as first stage was ITT and with riders sort of Castroviejo and Kwiatkowski I managed to snatch two first places.

Michal Kwiatkowski on his way for the first win of the season.
img545.imageshack.us/img545/4731/kwiatkowski.jpg

With mainly flat stages my hopes were on Lodewyck and Matysiak... however they were quickly shattered by riders like Bol, Trentin and Ladagnous. Lodewyck finished about 5th most of the time, apart from the last stage that he managed to win.

Klaas Lodewyck celebrates his only win on Tour de Langkawi.
img443.imageshack.us/img443/8639/lodewyck.jpg

On hills Rutkiewicz did pretty good job, becoming 4th on the 5th stage and 10th on the sole mountain race, what gave him 7th position in general (Castroviejo was 9th). However, once again I failed to grab a mountain jersey, but on the other end, my team was named the best team of the tour.

Tour de Langkawi (2HC)
Overall: 7th Rutkiewicz, 9th Castroviejo
Points: 4th Lodewyck
Mountain: 17th Castroviejo
Young: 4th Kwiatkowski
Team: 1st
