the most encouraging thing for me was Pinot's performance helping Phinney. Should be handy in the tour, and especially looking forward to him in years to come.

A thrilling race to follow (as ever ember's enthusiasm shines through) - full of twists and turns with some excellent individual stage performances from Taaramae, Arroyo, Plaza and of course former Red Bull rider Siutsou.

This was a stand out performance from Siutsou, who has been wonderfully active for Pendleton's in these stage races. Meanwhile Spilak shows that he shouldn't be ruled out for the Tour, a Tour which doesn't have the shame MTF nature as the Vuelta or the Giro had.

Solid, but really weird race. For me.. well, it wasn't bad at all as I got some nice points package from Coppel, but I really need a second leader next to Henao for these mountains races for the next season..
