12° Tappa: Bagneres-de-Bigorre > Sarroqueta (ESP)
Tour get into Spain after the fatigue of Luz Ardiden. Stage is not very difficult but with only 4 real climbs, two first-category Col d'Aspin and Puerto de Bielsa, with tunnel in top and two of second. Stage for escapes from far, if some bigs want to make big significant gaps. The top of Collado de Fadas (2nd Cat) is followed by a plateau of 10 km and 18 down before reaching the final little ramp: 2.5 km, with peaks of 12 to Sarroqueta that stage will be made if not hard, it may be finisseur for Gilbert but that if the yield can do serious long furrows in the overall standings.

10° Tappa: Bordeaux > San Sebastian (ESP)
Again in Spain. Basque Country. Two possible interpretations for it. First: strong wind, near sea, big roads... you know what i mean, yes?. Second: Jazkibiel in final. Stage is before Luz Ardiden and after Puy de Dome... so riders has to keep energy!
