Again it doesn't seem like have any challengers for the GC and Kreuziger can't match the best TTists here in the PT, so his 2nd place from 2008 doesn't really mean a lot now.
I'm looking forward to see what Klemme can do though, he should be my strongest guy in the hills.

Haha, a bit of dominance up there for Virgin and Wikipedia. Good ol' time trialists. Go Phinney!

Nice ride by Ford Had hoped for Posthuma to be a little better though... he's my GC hope.
I guess its going to be Zabriskie all the way though, with the other TT as well. |

Surprisingly weak peloton gives me a hope that Carlos Castaño should be able to finish within top 5...
Favorites as I see it:
David Zabriskie
Vincenzo Nibali
Andrei Kashechkin
Carlos Castaño
Maxime Monfort
Sylvain Chavanel
And a ton of outsiders, whom with the right breakaway could end up taking the lot:
Haimar Zubeldia
Jelle Vanendert
Przemyslaw Niemiec
Lars Boom
Taylor Phinney
Joost Posthuma
Jerome Pineau
Jerome Coppel
Jonathan Bellis
Carlos Barredo
Domenik Klemme
Dario Cataldo
Ignas Konovalovas
Diego Ulissi
Ruben Elvira Lobato
Andrea Moletta
Tadej Valjavec |

Oh yeah, and btw, Phinney has 79 TT after training, and Boom 75 hill, 75 stamina. So I reckon my chances are fairly high.

The race will be decided by either:
1. The TT.
2. A breakaway making it.
The perfect combination is a very good TT and a high sprint rating. Bak is a good time triallist and a can sprint (70 SP) as well.
I still think that Zabriskie will take it.
(And you can count Ulissi out. He crashed on stage 2) |

Wow, nice suprize from Santambrogio there. Two podiums in a row with a pretty crappy team, I'm not complaining! |

Hopefully my team can pull off a result of some sort, which would be great as a wildcard. |

Close but no cigar from van Loocke... I should've put Hushovd here really... He could've won without too much of a fight. |

Oh well... my ToC is screwed with Posthuma losing 2'45...
I really expected hi to be able to finish in the first groupe...
now lets hope for a stage win in a break, or a maybe a suprize sprint again? |

Well, lost two jerseys, but gained the young one. Been quite a nice tour for me. Thanks Crue for all the Virgin mentions Quite nice to actually think your riders are doing something....

Great stagewin, though 30 seconds on the pack would've been very very helpful in order to get Castaño on the podium...
Zabriskie have won the race today, while Phinney, Boom and Nibali probably can catch Castaño...
Steve Morabito could do a decent race, ending in top 20, while I can't see Ortega, but assume he is still within 40 seconds? |

Phinney took 5th two days in a row, and the nice 4th in the TT (or was it another 5th!?). OK, may not seem much, but tis nice to be "up there" a bit.

Valjavec!!!
I am absolutely thrilled with my team's performance so far. In the break everyday, and Valjavec fighting in the mountains in a PT race. This is great. |

Phinney could very well end up on the podium in this race. He survived the toughest stage, and there's a 28km TT in his favour. |
