Crashes during stages

Hey,
I am really getting fed up with this game, because in almost every stage the game crashes, and the screen turns black and says, "PCM stopped working. I have a NVIDIA geforce 8600m GT graffic card, and it's fully updated, and i have turned the graffic down, can anybody help? |

It is almost every stage, but the last 3-4 stages it has been everytime. |

Depending on the .db some stages/races are more prone to crashes than others.
With your graphic card you shouldn't really have problems, especially if the settings are turned down, so the above could be the cause.

now i have played a few other stages, and still it crashes everytime, this game is so annoying, every year there is so many errors... But thanks for the help though fenian_1234..... |

Try to empty the cache. It might have an effect, it might not.
It's in -
C:\Users\fenian\AppData\Roaming\Pro Cycling Manager 2009\Cache. |

yupp, probably got the same problem here, if not even worse.
This year PCM actually manages to totaly freeze/crash my computer. I've had this machince since march last year, and it has NEVER EVER frozen until i did my first stage in PCM 09.
This game got some seroiuos coding problems, atleast last year, we found out it was a memleak in the programe.
This year i dont know what too expect, i've posted on the Focus forum, but no answers yet. Not even an anknowlage from the mods/FocusTechteam.

best of wishes, tho i doubt theyll find a fix for this. & If they do it will probably take some time, as it seems Cyanide is working theyr ass off with the upcoming TdF-Pcm for Xbox-marketplace-Arcade And PSP...
Now theyr gonna steal from the Consolers too...

sry for makin a new post but, Bransholm have you got several errors or the pcm.exe/PCM_NiDX9RendererVC80.dll error? This is what it says if you press the "more info" or sumthing when PCM.EXE crashes. ???
From what ive seen when searching for this is that seems like more or less all that ive found uses a Nvidia GeForce card. Some 8600/8800/9600/9800 but they all got Nvidia cards
now, im not saying that that these cards dont work at all, might be deeper hardware related but my guess is that im on something here 
My specs are :
Vista Utlimate 64bit (SP2)
MSI's P7N SLI motherboard, based on Nvidia's nForce 750i SLI chipset
Intel Core 2 Duo E8400 3GHz
2 x Nvidia GeForce 8800 GT (SLI)
8gb Ram

I also have this exact poblem! Do you have the cd version or download? It seems to me that it's just the people with the cd version who have this problem! It's extreamely annoying. Cyanide must come out with a new patch! |

Be happy you never played WoW or ET or something, tottaly crashing atleast once a day isnt exactly fun.

I've got the --> Download version <-- , so guess that dont make any diffrence.

Well, yeah and dont forget every pcm version prior too this one.
And No... When theres a 50% chance that you will get a PCM.EXE error or that the machine freezes during a stage (3dmode), the game is unplayable. If it had crashed only once or twice a day or 1 of 10 stages, that wouldnt be much diffrent from 08,07,06 or so, the game is still playable and can still be enjoyed

My game started crashing all the time after i installed patch 1.0.3.3. This really annoys me, as i had no problems before updating.
Started a new game, and every time i reach the first mountainsprint in the second stage of Tour of Australia, the screen just goes white.This didn't happen before updating to the newest patch. Cyanide really fucked up this time!
