I haven´t seen a thread about racing games so...
Do you have any racing games?
Which games do you prefer and which racing games do you hate?
I like racing games very much and I play rFactor (but I wait for RACE ON)
Is anyone interested to join a rFactor league?

i have a game i bought for 6 euros from the supermarket it's called RACING SIMULATION 3 and i love it! I think it's the non-licenced version of MONACO GRAND PRIX 2 from around 1992, downloaded a F1 car graphics pack and edited the drivers and it's the perfect drivers and cars from the 1991 season, even though its 7 years old i still prefer to play it than any games around today and It's so smooth to play on my useless old PC. Maybe im just weird!

I bought Race Driver: GRID for PS3 not too long ago. Like it so far although the career mode, in my opinion, is very, very boring.
Looking forward to Codemaster's Formula 1 game. |

I play Live for Speed. It feels just the best of all racing games i have played imo. No real tracks though  |

Ignoring the two heathens that posted above (CrueTrue and the other guy) who have no concept of what a simulation is  , I have to say
GTR2, RACE, rFactor, Live For Speed.
And BlimeyGames who did GTR, GTR2 and the awesome GTL is doing a Need For Speed game (yes, a simulation NFS. You're allowed to be stunned now) called SHIFT that will be released in september. Can't wait

I have to say, i like GTR2 and RACE. I just never bothered getting into it as every time i get close to buying a wheel, i get distracted.

Title of the thread is Racing games ( arcade games such as Grid & Trackmania qualify for that) not racing simulation games. |

Yeah but its coming out in september when the seasons 3/4 over so we have about a month to play with the drivers in the right team before changes happen in the off-season and the game becomes out-dated. Still the racing and graphics look great.

I've read some preview of it, and it doesn't seem like it will be a sim at all... no fuel nor tire management, only driving... like all the game out nowadays, it's all about graphics. Point.
Btw, if someone is interested in racing in a rFactor F1 champ, I need a pilot for my team (check the signature banner, I have the same pseudo there). |
