Thank you for the preview, Laurens!
Higuita has been doing well in the harder hilly classics, so would be great if he could repeat those performances in what could perhaps be our best monument result ever. Probably jinxed it now eh?

Thanks for the preview!
I assume this Aranburu's stamina is going to be insurmountable here, but we've also brought Gregaard, like in Amstel. Maybe he can give us a top 20 on a good day again.

Once more I have to rely on Kinoshitas stamina to get my hopes up. He did reasonably Well so far, so it would be great to close the ardennes by being on target.
Fingers crossed for MAL to take the win!

Someone in the top 50 would be good.
Thanks for the preview.

Massive monument for us! Really hope Valter is on a great day here, to prove that he's consistently very good in these races, after the brilliant Amstel win, but also the not so brilliant Fleche.
If we somehow get to use Romo similar as to in Amstel, where he clearly saved Valter a lot of energy, letting Valter sit tight without needing to attack before he took initiative himself, that will be great, as I think we have the chance to save Valter a ton of energy in such a difficult hilly race, either by protecting Valter the longest time possible, or letting Romo attack/be aggressive while Valter watches from the group.
Excited to see how this one plays out! Thank you for the preview, Laurens |

I hope Gidich can carry his FW form into this race. It is the only ardennes classic remaining that he hasn't won now. Thanks for the preview! |

Can you play this any worse tactically? I guess i should praise Adria or congratulate jandal but i really only want to curse out the game for ruining lopez winning odds with the worst possible strategy you can take here.

Amazing result from Kinoshita here! We actually managed to score slightly above our expectations in the ardennes, despite having reasonably high asks. Great stuff!
MAL was awful here. Fortunately Adria made a crazy performance.
Congrats on the win Areruya

Love to see all those attacks from Formolo, but the old man really needs to save something for the last part as well as not getting even a top 10 after all that is kind of disappointing.
It's once again Remco who saves the day with another top 10 in a Monument!
Not the best performance from Champoussin either, but we do have some good depth in the end.
Thanks for the report! Congrats, jandal!

Horrible day for us, but can't say I'm surprised given the engine. Aranburu is useless on this kind of parcours with this kind of race length, and unlike Amstel, we prioritized him over Gregaard.
Congrats to jandal on a deserved win, but commiserations to knockout on what was truly a bizarre performance by Lopez.

Congrats to Jandal and Areruya! Well raced
That must've been one of the worst performances ever by a rider in Lopez
Great report, must've been a nightmare to evne know where to focus with everything going on

At least we had a top-100 finisher
Areruya winning is great, congrats jandal! Shame what happened to MAL, no idea what was going on there. Very happy to see Bagioli having a good race, he could have taken the win on another day.
Thanks for the report!

I knew I jinxed it He was where he had to be most of the time, just a shame the big group got back together and ruined his top-10 or better.
Congratulations to jandal and thank you for the great report, Imladrik!

I had hoped for a bit better from Gidich but 5th is still acceptable. It's just unfortunate that we didn't manage to get any depth scoring. Thanks for the report, Imladrik! |
