A change in parcours if I recall correctly this year makes this a very interesting race for the puncheurs. Very surprised not to see Cervelo here this year with their amazing hill squad, but should be a very interesting race for both promotion battles in PCT and CT.

Thanks for the preview, Nemo, though it's not a good sign we weren't mentioned at all, especially as this is our win goal of the season. Winning is clearly not realistic, but APP and Oliveira should hopefully be able to net us some good points here nonetheless.

Indeed, it's really one for the puncheurs now - potentially one for the better climbers among the puncheurs, but not necessarily. I guess Buchmann vs. Bagioli could be a pretty decisive battle for promotion - we'll see if Powless can keep up with the puncheurs to get some good points for Benetton as well.
Given that 21 PCT teams wanted to participate here, there were just 3 open spots for CT teams - I could well imagine Cervélo to have picked this race, but 3 others likely gave it a higher priority... It's obviously a huge opportunity for Genii, if KHJ can work his TDU magic again!

This is it - the race that can make or break our promotion aspirations

Kinoshita and Ahlstrand will fight for the crown within the individual team standings here. Overall I expect both of them to perform like we have lately, and score a lot.

I fear we need Azman to turn into Hirschi light if we want anything from the GC here.
Hopefully Einhorn can score us some points in the sprints to make up for not having enough Hirschi race days to send him to this one

Hopeful that MT will indeed play a role here on the last 2 stages and that will play to Sosa's advantage. If his hybrid abilities don't play then wasted race days, viewed this as a season to experiment with what worked for him. Unfortunately, the only big success so far is a race that changes every year.

This is pretty well out last roll of the dice here - Bagioli has been incredible all season long and he has the opportunity here to keep us in the promotion race. Buchmann is mildly terrifying, as the last stage will be crucial. Hopefully Bagioli can collect some bonus seconds with good stage results leading up to the final stage and can hang on. We’ve got a pretty decent support crew here too so hopefully Bagioli can do his thing.
Thanks for the preview!

Our October so far after (almost) confirming promotion has been the same as the last four matches for Liverpool after they secured the EPL
Hopefully Benoot can show something here to keep us entertained, other than the team's seemingly drunken antics!
Thanks for the preview!

We really need an impressive result here, seeing that our closest competitor in the relegation battle is scoring massively |

Not much to hope for, for us. Going into breaks with the youngsters, Doubey or Pacher is the goal. Getting KoM points, and who knows, a stage win?
Thanks for the preview, good luck everybody.

I did not expect this. MAX LOSCH = GOAT hahaha.
Really some unexpected points, hope that we can cling on to some good results in the points ranking and maybe even another good sprint result!
Thanks for the report!

Brillant from Erdenesuren (1st time of the season I quote his name, I think, and maybe but not sure his first points) to claim the first mountian jersey of the race. That means we won't come back empty handed.
But from S3 we'll need some more capable riders to get to work.
Thanks for the report, congrats Blasing.

He finished 22nd in Gent-Wevelgem, so not his first points
Congrats to JEWA, but still sad to see Kraftwerk messing up one sprint after the other

Congrats Blasing! Good win for Losch. None of the big sprinters having a good day.
Bagioli finishing safely at the front is all we can hope for these first two stages.
Thanks for the report!
