It's time for another edition of the Eneco Tour. Last year it Fabian Cancellara won the race and he tries this year to defend his title. The dificulties of this year's edition are 2 hilly stages and long time trial, so riders with good TT stat should do easily a top10.
2008 Top10:
1 Fabian Cancellara ACCUMALUX 26h35'24
2 Tom Boonen CARREFOUR CYCLING + 8
3 Rik Verbrugghe FRANCE TELEVISIONS + 1'01
4 Dominique Cornu CARLSBERG + 1'10
5 Alessandro Ballan FERRARI - GUERCIOTTI s.t.
6 Davide Rebellin CYCLING24 - HONDA + 1'15
7 Linus Gerdemann MAGENTA TREFOIL + 1'22
8 Sylvain Chavanel FRANCE TELEVISIONS s.t.
9 Sébastien Joly SATURN + 1'23
10 Candido Barbosa FED-EX + 1'24

ANDY SCHLECK FOR SALE in the MAN GAME

Its an overdose of Eneco!
Good stuff for Cancellara so far after Stage 4. He is usually better in longer TTs so maybe he'll gain time on Fothen then

The eneco tour was a bit boring but it's good that fothen catched the second place. Another brilliant performance for the magentas in the august month and i expect some points in germany too. I think i'm the new Pro Tour leader

Also, a general comment to the stage reports: I never really liked when all stages are posted on the same day. It makes it difficult for people who don't visit the every day to keep up with their team. Also, there's not really any 'tension' when you can just go to the last stage and check the results
That said, I'm of course thankful for the fact that you're willing to help us here, and I understand your impatience to get the offseason started |

Its like Barth and Cancellara somehow swapped stats. Barth never does that well in longer time trials, he lacks the stamina - while Cancellara never does that badly. (Never until today it seems). Even with Barth's time it would still be unbelievably bad.

Zabriskie
3rd stage race win of the season, now he has a good shot at the TT classic thing
and CAncellara
edit: and this should secure a top 25 individual place for Dave Z in the PT, so I got all my goals

I dont like it when it goes too quickly. I prefer taking time, there arn't that many good DBs out yet either so when we come to the PCM 08 switch what will we do then |

A fast Eneco tour isnt going to speed up the management game. Im not even going to make the CustomTour file for Deutschland until the Volta a Portugal and Tour de l'Avenir are complete
