PCM Fusion DB: New race categories

Since the ProTour seems to be broken at last for good, keeping the system into this year's DB might make no sense at all. That's why I'll be opening a pool, leaving the choice for you to take the preferred basis for the PCM Fusion DB. Two alternatives are taken into account:
1) The 2008 UCI ProTour, with its race categories (PT, .HC, .1 and .2) plus the actual ranking system.
2) The CQ Ranking, based on the former UCI System. GT's, the World Cup (one-day races on the ProTour plus the Giro del Lazio) .S races (ProTour stageraces plus the Tour of California and the Vuelta a Burgos, without the Tour Down Under), .1 races (HC races IRL), .2 (.1) and .3 (the rest). Former World Cup ranks applying for the promotions and relegations, also the .S>.3 races for the Continental teams.

The CQ Ranking, but I really don't care much about the ranking. What matters is that races have good starting fields. Without the ProTour, we'll have boring fields at most smaller former-ProTour races...
not that the ProTour was a good thing, mind you...

But do you see it happening in real life. Also their is no fun at the moment as you cant be milram, C.A or brouges as you keep going down in your 1st year  so explain the logic in yo yo ing up and down with the same team every year !!! |

You don't go down. It's actually pretty simple to stay there.. Finish top 3 in the GC in some smaller pro tour races, get some top 10's in the classics, and win som stages in the GT.. Than you will get more than enough points |
