An absolutely superb season. New individual points record by EBH after something like 1-2-1-1-1-1-1-2-1-4-1 in his PCT races. Truly amazing season for him, and gives me a lot of confidence to have such a rider in the team for next.
A great season from Wisniowski as well. A little pity that he missed out on the podium after his no show in Kigali, but overall a fantastic season. Man, do I love those late flat attacks!
To win the title is a bit surprising, but our two big leaders really delivered in almost every race. Big congrats to the other promoted teams aswell. Especially Isostar with a huge season. Didn't see that one coming with so much money spent on Mohoric, but they have just held a very steady level throughout the season.
Unfortunately some relegating teams too. As a Norwegian team, it sucks seeing our Finnish friends go down. Also a fellow Norwegian going down with Compal-Merida, but I'm both are ready to bounce back straight away from the CT.
Glad to see Carlsberg surviving rather easily. Didn't have faith in you before the season, but especially Appo came through with some great results.

We got screwed so hard by the last two races. Really were looking forward of the challenge of making a PT team. Time to rebuild and sign new leaders

Good to see us ending in 15th this season. After a transfer season I thought I messed up we did indeed start off a bit meagerly, but the consistency of especially Duarte and some fluke results of Klemme and Holloway put us into safety quite early.
Thanks everyone who helped out this season! Must say it went very fast and smoothly. Congrats to everyone who promoted, especially champion tasta and a team that was predicted to end much lower (Croatia). The good thing is that I won't have to fear you next season

Of course this was not what I had hoped or expected going into the season but it became obvious relatively early when it was clear that Lo Cicero didn't intend to follow up on last year's 3rd in the rankings and 1000+ pts season.
Most other terrains disappointed in varying degrees as well but there can be no doubt who the big culprit.
I still don't get how he can have two so different seasons with the same game...

Actually a bit annoyed with the Kigali crash now, as we lost a potential top 15 spot there, but 17th is great. The goal was not to go down and we didn't get into trouble. Van Asbroeck may have overperformed a bit, but Waeytens more than compensated for that. Vanbilsen had a solid season and Dall'Oste had that one awesome race that gave us an early boost.
Massive congrats to EBH and Grieg fo their dominant performance, deserved league winner. Valio going down is dosappointing of course, but I'm sure they'll be back soon.
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

First off, thank you to all who made this season possible and contributed. Amazing work that is greatly appreciated.
Second, congrats to all those who promoted and sympathies for all those who relegated. It was a hard fought season all the way through.
Finally, I am incredibly happy beyond belief to be staying in PCT. Another year. After how I botched transfers, I was extremely pessimistic about our chances. But here we are, in 16th place with over 2000 points for the team. And despite my terrible mistakes, we have another chance in this division.
Two riders brought us this. Christopher Juul-Jensen, who turned out to be the point scorer that kept us in the mix by doing his best 2015 Marc De Maar impression and using his support stats to gain on better puncheurs, is the team MVP. Grieg needed to clear budget to get EBH, and we got a premier Danish leader that kept us in the division. I'd say that deal was a win-win. The second is Davide Appollonio. I took a risk signing him, knowing he hasn't had that much success in the past despite his 81 sprint. But he came through, especially in the first half of the year, way above expectations, taking crucial stage wins and making the most of what could have been lost race days.
A lot of other guys underperformed, and there were certainly a bunch of complete duds (i.e. Contador), but we pulled it together, got in a lot of breaks, and did what we had to. With a bunch of old domestiques and some young guys progressing, this team will look quite a bit different next year, but I'm proud of what it accomplished despite not have a high priced leader.
RIP Exxon Duke, David Veilleux, Double Feature, and Monster Energy

Wow, what a year! Congrats to Grieg for an amazing title win, and to team of the season Isostar - though many disagreed with Croatia they'd relegate I don't think many of us saw them in second <3 And those that did put them in or near the promotion spots in their quick previews: nice work What an amazing season, that's how you build a squad
I also like to see Netia survive obviously but commiserations to those going down. I'm super glad I won't have to face any of you in the CT next year, you're a good bunch of managers and will strike fear into the hearts of any CT manager An epic load of battles in this year's rankings, I've loved following it
Thanks to all reporters, behind-the-scenes organisers and, of course, the managers, for making a great season of PCT

15/08/22 - SotD said "Your [jandal's] humour is overrated"

Thanks to all the reporters for this great season, I think I enjoyed this season more than any so far! Congrats to tastasol on the dual championship, I think you'll have no problem hanging in the PT next season. As for us, I am happy to promote but will greatly miss the uniqueness that the PCT brings.
I'm afraid with my current squad I'll struggle to stay afloat. We have a lot of riders that are competitive for top-10s in the PCT (Schelling, Reichenbach, Reinhardt, Dillier) but none of them are PT material as it stands. There will be some training to do and some riders to sell this offseason or we will be right back in the PCT. Fortunately we got 4/5 goals so there will be some cash floating around.
Thanks again everyone for the great season!

This season has really flown by, so I'll start by thanking the organizers, reporters and every other manager who makes this game very enjoyable. One of the first things I do in the morning is checking this site to see if there's a new report.
As for our season, we should be called Team Úran. Deutschlands Tour is without doubt the pitoval race of this season for us, if Úran didn't win it we would've relegated. Betancourt with a poor season, compensated by an overperforming Drapac and some fluky breakaway wins by the likes of De Haes, placed us just above the relegation line after spending a lot of time beneath it. I'm happy we survived but of course I feel sorry for the likes of Valio and MOL. I hope those teams can bounce back next season. Same goes for Ticos, Compal and Haute.
Grieg, and EBH, totally deserve their titles. My congratulations to them and also to the other promotees. Isostar with back-to-back promotions, croatia had no right to complain about relegation but unfortunately I lost that bet in the betting game. Berg, UBS and Newton also deservingly going up a division, with Ferrero also going up most likely.
Looking forward to next season where I hope to see less scary ranking updates.

Congrats to all promoting teams. Good luck to quick comeback to all the relagating teams!
Big surprise to see Orange not promoting, but so cruel to see that points difference! Grieg as expected right there, EBH totally dominating, too bad he is coming back to PT! Big smile to see Isostar promoting comfortably. Quite a lot unexpected promotion when I mention our off-season chat.

It really sucks to see Valio go down, seeing Lo Cicero last season "killing" Ahlstrand in the rankings and this season dropping down 600 pts and 30 places ohh man thats wierd.
But man dominate from Greig - Eftel and EBH, congrats tastasol will be fun racing against you next season. Also congrats to Carlsberg for staying up.
Also nice to see "pre-season relegation expecter team" Isostar to take 2nd, congrats! And congrats to the other more guys to promote, the veterans! |

Been a very interesting ride following the PCT this year. Congrats to tata as champion bouncing straight back up to PT. Also congrats to the other direct guaranteed promoters, and a couple of likely disband promoters. Was a close race right to the end, and perhaps all the close challengers for 5th might end up in PT anyway?
Impressed to see the likes of Lierse and Euskatel steer clear of relegation given the investment they have in talents. Also stalwarts like BBL and TMM that might have been concerned earlier in the season, but end in relative safety.
Commiserations to the folks finishing in the relegation zone, the model of In-n-Out bouncing right back up this season is an obvious inspiration for you guys. Some interesting teams that face difficult renewal decisions in terms of holding onto expensive leaders, or committing to more or less a complete re-build. An interesting sub-plot to watch through the transfer season.
From my perspective from afar, seemed to be brilliant particpation levels from PCT managers this season in terms of lack of obvious 'hammer' enforced disbands, great to see good participation from the successful and less succesful teams alike.

Wooho, great to see Tasta take the title. Really nice team to have as base for PT and what a way to promote with aswell!
Croatia in second is atleast equally impressive. With all those slovenian talents and he still manages to promote, chapeau! Kump in top 10 is cool for me as the previous owner aswell
Look forward to battle all promoting teams in PT next year

Big congratulations, tastasol! Must say it's very, very nice to see Boasson Hagen deliver such a masterclass season, carrying the team in the perfect way, really. Really hoped he would prove guarantees for race wins for you, but can't say I would have expected such domination
And as you've said yourself and others too, you've got a great team to build on. Though, surely you must do something for the mountains, as it didn't really go well in your last try when missing any threat in the mountains. But for the cobbles and the hills, this is already a good team with Wisniowski and Boasson Hagen lining up. |

Was hoping to be higher up the standings, but EBH and TVG both joining the division took away a lot of potential points from our best rider, and our sprinters rarely performed well enough to score anything significant. Kuboki was definitely our most underrated rider again, but the return of the Kuroeda brothers should be good for our previously non-existent cobbles team.
Thanks to everyone for helping run this game another season, as well as to all the managers.

Time to get rid of the of the failing riders in our team, ready for CT again, Guillen is first on that list.
I am worried I will struggle to keep my best riders though
