We're going to try something new this year, and give all PCT and CT managers the opportunity to work on their race planner during transfers.
Race calendars will not be finalised until after transfers - but still you might find this helpful, and some teams will be in a position to work on this already.
Files:
PCT: https://www.dropbox.com/s/nemaqqzr80n....xlsm?dl=0
CT: https://www.dropbox.com/s/e537uk6da94....xlsm?dl=0
Instructions
1. From the DB take the ID, rider names, and race day allowances, and add them to the planner file.
2. If you're planning on training, add it to the DB, run the macro (CTRL+SHIFT+O) then check the info thread to see if their RDs have now changed
If you want to hide the columns of races you are not entering then:
3. Fill in the C1C2 selection file with the races you want
4. Go to the Tabelle2 sheet and select and copy cells A5 to DL5 (The 1s and 0s)
5. Paste it into cells F4:DQ4 in the race planner file (It is better if you do it Paste Values)
6. If you are planning on any wildcards (PT for PCT, HC for CT) and don't want those columns being hidden, then find them in a race planner file and put a '1' in row 4 for that race.
7. Run the 'Hiding' macro (CTRL+SHIFT+Q)
Then your race planner is ready to go. But of course, your calendar may still change.
General race planner instructions (Recommended for new or forgetful managers)
Spoiler This will look something like this:
To fill in a rider's schedule, put a 1 in the column for each race you want them to ride. It should look something like this:
Note: That is neither the actual Eritel race calendar, or my race lineups for those races (if I'm even in them)
Column DR and Cells A/D3 will warn you if you have sent a rider to more races than they have race days for. This updates automatically.
Column DU and Cells A/D2 will warn you if a rider is being sent to more than one race at the same time. This only updates when you click the 'Check Race Clashes' button. Once you have clicked that button, wait until a Text Box prompt appears telling you that the check has been completed. You can also check which races clash in the Calendar excel file, or in the Race Profiles forum.
Rows 36 and 37 show how many riders you have sent to a race. The team size is 8 for every race except some of the TT classics. Remember that you must send at least 6 riders to each races.
PCT teams should remember the limits on rider strength for lineups they send to C2 races.
Alternatives
1. If you'd rather wait until after transfers and have the file sent to you, filled in with rider details and showing your calendar, then please post in this thread to request that
2. If you can't open .xlsm files, an .xls version can be provided - without any of the macros.
Submitting
When completed, upload to dropbox with the name "PCT_TeamName" or "CT_TeamName" and PM ManGame-Admin to say it is there. Clearly, this will not be required until some time after the transfer period has ended.

I'd prefer to wait for the completed file, just so I don't make any stupid errors.
Sorry, and thank you.

I've followed the instructions, but the macro doesn't seem to work? The normal ctrl+shift+o works fine in the DB and the race clash macro in the race planner works normal.

Can you put the file in your Dropbox so I can have a look?

I'd rather wait to be sent the complete file.
Partly to avoid mistakes, but also because i'll be waiting on wildcard results as well so don't want to waste my own time planning only to then replan.
Will be quick when it's sent through though

You haven't done this bit:
If you want to hide the columns of races you are not entering then:
3. Fill in the C1C2 selection file with the races you want
4. Go to the Tabelle2 sheet and select and copy cells A5 to DL5 (The 1s and 0s)
5. Paste it into cells F4 Q4 in the race planner file (It is better if you do it Paste Values)

I'd also prefer to wait for the completed file after transfers have ended, so I also don't make stupid errors and ridiculous planning decisions... Thanks a lot for all the work btw guys/girls. |

I'd like to wait until after transfers and have the file sent to me please,
Partly to avoid me making any mistakes setting it up but mainly because I'm hoping to see a post transfers DB before I have to fill it in.

Select all columns from E to DR, then right click somewhere on the columns bar and click Unhide
