Update for July plus San Sebastian and Melaka (Not Austria). Thanks to Froomedog and Atlantius for the rankings help.
July wasn't the busiest month for PCT, with the Isle of Man races, Battenkill and Bulgaria - before the end of month Post Danmark Rundt kicked off the series of big HC races that continues into August.
Division leaders Aegon top scored for the month, while Risa, Karcher and RBC continued their recent runs of form. Kenya Airways bounce back from June with their Danish result really helping them in their fight.

This of course helped to extend Aegon's lead, but Gazelle kept up and really closed the gap again after San Sebastian. These two now have a clear gap over the chasing pack, with a real close battle for 3rd amongst 5 teams: Bpost, Karcher, Evonik, Puma and Kenya Airways.
Risa are above 2000 points now, while RBC and BoI swap positions at the bottom of the Top 10, still ahead of Prio. From 10th to 20th there is little over 400 points separating them. A close gap, with plenty of room for changes. Amex are up 3 to 12th while Summerhill's continued success helps Azteca to 16th. Mobil enter the Top 20, at the expense of a barely racing Bonsucro.
The bottom 5 teams remain the same, but they are fighting - the two recent classic wins going to Children of Chernobyl and Eddie Stobart. Lululemon remain closest to survival, with their eyes on Vontobel. ONCE are next, but have a Brajkovic GC win that is not yet included in the standings. Danmark went well for cycleYorkshire in their bid to avoid the bottom spot against Sauber.

It appears to be two teams leading the way for the title, and Aegon will do well to hold off Gazelle as it stands. Evonik, Bpost and Kenya are next to take up the promotion positions.
Puma slip down below Karcher and Risa - only Aegon have raced more than them so far this season. Prio are thrust into the Top 10, while Bank of Ireland actually slip all the way down to 18th. Bonsucro and Project Africa both enjoy 5 place boosts, but there is no change to the relegation positions - the bottom 5 looking quite adrift.

Luis Leon Sanchez won the Manx International to extend his lead only to see Danny Summerhill win Battenkill and peg him back. It's unlikely Summerhill can overhaul him though, given the remaining races. Keizer in 3rd may struggle to catch his former teammate too.
Sella, Machado, and Kupfernagel all edge upwards a couple of places in the Top 10. Brajkovic gains 3 for 11th, and will be much higher with his Austrian points. Fiedler and Pozzato both enter the Top 20.
517 riders have scored points, out of 710.

Wow, 50% of my points scored by Rujano, while Cabrera scored 30% of the 600 more.
We're still in the top 20, but I wanted that top 15.  At least we're more than safe I think, so we concencrate on finishing up higher. |

Still fighting! 26th is looking ever harder to hold against fjhoekie but all we need is for Thomas to do something good (seriously, how has he scored less than Grashev!) and we can try and claw back something. Building a gap against the other bottom 3 as well which i want to keep.
Thomas needs to step-up, a classic win would do the job like last season. Lloyd needs another Romandie-esque performance. Could do with Nelson bagging some more podiums. We are close to being a survivable team, but we just can't get the little bit of luck to go from where we are to safety.
Tour of America is gonna be an absolutely massive race for the relegation fight, i mean absolutely massive!

Another catastrophic month for the team, at least we lost now place in the rankings. We did in the PpRD though. If we don't step up our game soon, it will be impossible to reach the top15 rankings goal..
Sella still keeping himself in the top10 is good, but Kiserlovski only 76th is a disgrace. The same for Nepomnyachsniy at 133rd. I never expected very much of Kip, but his season so far is below any expectations. |

The battle for promotion's really tight, but it looks like we're edging it on the PPRD with a gap to Karcher and Puma. A poor Osterreich Rundfahrt could have got rid of that though, so I still think it will go down to the wire.
Whether Kwiatkowski can get on the podium in the ongoing Portugal could really make the difference, considering how many race days it's using up.
Gazelle looking pretty much nailed on for the title now for me, congrats DD! The bottom 5 is looking settled as well with Lululemon and Chernobyl the wrong side of the split. An amazing race for either of them though could easily put them back in the battle though.

Another really solid month for the boys and with the way Boily is going in Portugal we are solidly turning our selves into a top 10 outfit and with 6 confirmed promotion places that will be a speculative aim |

Looking very good for a top 10 now. Expecting Prio to pass us after Portugal, but still decent gaps down to the other teams. Portugal and Britain will be our key races in that perspective, need to score good there. In the rest of the races, we should be quite good.

Since last update we gained 428 points in just 13 race-days...that's totally amazing.  The riders keep surprising me and when a leader fails a lieutenant or even domestique steps up. Great season so far.
The gap to Kenya, Evonik and Bpost has widened, but Aegon keep up quite well. So we really can't slow down and need to continue bringing in at least 25 points per race-day. Glad Monfort has plenty of races left on his calendar.

Welcome to see Aegon still going strong and would probably slightly favour roturn taking the divsional title.
DD's Gazelle though going to put them through there paces and actually look favourites on PpRD. It is tight behind that though getting to be squeaky bum time for the expectant Bpost and Puma franchises.
Evonik lead by LLS and also Karcher big surprises to me, Kenya also quite dramatically better than last year also.
Machado needs to get his nose in front at Portugal - Prio Porto return to PT still looks very remote.
Sauber look appalling are they even worse than Oz Cycling/Meiji were once upon a time? Below the British barrel scrapyards and Eastern European backwaters is pretty bad.

Our season has been a big surprise and another good month end, Leaders have been well and with the help of some surprising victories seems that our final goal of season starts becoming increasingly real. Finish in the top 10 no longer seems like a dream, I do not put us in the race for promotion because Fiedler has ended his season in PCT, while Haussler and Kupfernagel only have one more race before the end of the season. This will make the points arise less often...

Another update where we barely dogde relegation. Atleast now I'm feeling pretty safe considering Austria isn't includet!
Brajko scoring 60 % of the total team points says enough about our depth. It's a joke to not get 2 riders in top 100 in the rankings even, happy to stay up though all things taken into consideration and there's a season next where I expect to do wayyy better 
Close fight for the title, but I think Gazelle will beat Aegon in the end considering their depth and max 1 (?) race left for Keizer to do well in.

Oh dear, outside the top 20.  Fortunately I know we are up to 16th really, after Austria. With c.230 points in Austria, Contador is up to just over 1000 points, wow! Could that tally hold on for the individual title?
After picking up well over 300 points from breakaway results last CT season, surely we are going to get in some freaking breaks and improve on our poor total of c.17 points this season. |

I can still stay up I guess, with Nepomnyachsniy doing well in Portugal I see a decent chance to at least beat Lululemon (Hah TMM, I'm still better somehow ), and potentially, with a good Tour of America included, beat Vontobel who seem to rely on Di Maggio quite a lot, where I have a few riders who could still score decent points with Nepom in Portugal, Prevar in Beijing and Kashechkin/Popovych in America. Fingers crossed!

Given that we had a really good Austria and that isn't included I'm not feeling too bad about our chances at 3rd. Certainly I don't see us finishing lower than 4th at his stage and automatic promotion is all that we were gunning for.

Tough race at the bottom. Even if we won't keep ONCE behind us the recent results are keeping us optimistic. We are just one or two big points away from beeing in much calmer waters. Let's go, guys.

These threads always just make me feel much better about my team. And by my team I mean Summerhill... who accounts for 69% of my teams scoring. There is no doubt anymore that the right one rider can save a team from relegation. Looking forward to next season if BPost promotes and Vanspeybroeck is no longer around. Will making picking win goals pretty easy.

We slowly slowly declines in the result table, we have top 10 as a goal but dont think we can achieve that but hopefully we can stay in top 15!
Well that was what I thought before I checked it out we actually have climb since the 2nd update. But looking at the PpRD we are a bit worse the longer this season goes.
Tour of America could be a big factor in how it will end for us. |

Thanks for the update! Still getting relegated but its still all to play for  Maybe Portugal and America turn it around but I'm not hopeful, would like a second crack at it tbf
