Crash in career mode.

I just bought PCM 14' last week and it already starts to crash in career mode, after a few days in game. Who can help me? It starts to become quite annoying to reset to the weekly save! |

Please give more information. When does it crash? Random or reproducible? And so on.. |

Haha would be nice if you can!
It just crashes random. Sometimes it takes a few days but it can also be after only 1 day. |

Are you using a db? Have you edited the db somehow?

I am using the FDB database right now. But it also crashes with the official database. Just found out that it also crashes when doing a stage race. |

Considering that the FDB isdifficult toinstall,perhaps you did some mistakes, has the gqnme ever crashed before then?

Well, I'm not sure, but is it possible that you have installed the patch after installing the fdb? In that case you should necessarily reinstall the game.

It is hard to help if we cannot narrow the problem.
Did you ever play this game before installing the FDB? Did it work before installing that DB?
To be sure, I would also recommend to re-install the game.
If you want to try it, do it like this:
1. Remove it through steam
2. Make sure that there are no leftovers in the C:\program files\steam\common\pcm\ (I forgot the exact path)
Warning: Do not delete the PCM folder in "My documents" because your career is stored there.
3. Install the game through steam
4. Make sure that it is updated
5. Start the game and check if the problem remains
6. If the problem remains, go to the graphical Options and lower everything to 0. Also turn off the recoding of the replay.
7. Try again and report back to us

Yes, i did play this game before instaling the db and it did work before instaling. After what you recommended it still crashes. Need more information or is it just my computer? |

no, it isn't your computer, you just installed the fdb the wrong way. You just have yo uninstall the game as Lachi said, and then reinstall it. You first said that the game crashed before and now you say that it didn't

In this case, please indicate at exactly which moments it does crash.
When playing 3D races? When clicking somewhere? When going to the next day?
Also, does your computer comply with the minimum system requirements for this game?
BTW: Just to know. Did you re-install the game as indicated or not?

It crashes when going to the next day. My computer has got the right system requirements and i did re-installed the game. |

OK, another question. When you take the weekly save and load it in the game, can you then go past the day where the crash occured? Or does it crash on the same day?

Well, if it is always the same day, a stage may be corrupted. What day is that, so that we can find out what stage is that?

I doubt that it is related to a broken stage, else it should never work.
Also it seems to be happening too often, to be related to one single stage and I haven't heard of several broken stages in the official game.
Another question: Is the save gone or broken after the game crashed?
