Which game is better ? Fully patched 2013 or PCM 2014 now ? I have some money and I think to buy the game...but is it worth ? |

For me, 14 is the best. It has really surprised me so far. The career aspect has improved so much, it's really a lot of fun to do the transfers, R&D, give the orders and plan the season  |

I wouldn't know I haven't played much career because I can't get into it without a Daily DB.
But IDK what the big deal is. Only thing I've noticed is that instead of all the leaders randomly attacking on the bottom of the final climb and everyone else stopping, they do that on the penultimate one.

In PCM 2013 you could have fun in online stage races at least. The game, if we don't care about small improvements in career mode, is worther than 2013 |

Really? I saw climbers attack halfway climbs and such too.
I think PCM 14 is a step up, again. Not a huge step up, but it never was.

So, thank you guys . I'm going to buy PCM 14 on Monday then..When you say it's worth..
Another question, will You recommend me good DB to play with, until the DailyDB is here ?
Edit : About the graphics and system requirements.. I can run PCM 2013 on max, so there shouldn't be a problem to run and PCM 2014, right ?

Never seen it. Froome, Contador, Quintana always attack together on the penultimate climb if there is one when I've played. Everyone eventually follows. There is no attrition.

What do you mean? In PCM2013 I went from Continental to WT in 3 seasons and I was able to sign Cancellara and others. |

I started with continental, went to continental pro, but the increase in money was much too low to get a good rider in my team. I mean to be able to pay their wages, becuase I expected a bigger increase

How often did you do it ? Did you give it a go for more than 1 season ? Do you honestly think it is not a little bit realistic to have to wait a little longer until the sponsor coughs up more money or until you attract a new sponsor ? |

my contract was still on for a couple of years, so that was impossible and after achieving every goal of the sponsor getting promotion I thought I was gonna get a decent raise in budget, so I signed a couple of new guys(don't remember who but not the really expensive ones) start the new year, and after 2 months I was bankrupt, and then I had no more time to play the game for a while
EDIT: and yes it would be more realistic to wait longer, but it would also be better that you knew how much money you'd get next season, becuase that never was clear

Maybe you did not adjust your sponsor objectives so you could pay for staff. It is pretty easy to get promoted in a few years, as long as you balance everything. |

could be, I just bought the game back then and too long ago to remember , but in this game the prize money is back right? becuase that would make it easier to have some money if you are getting good results. |

I don't own PCM 13 but only the 2012 Version. I'm thinking of upgrading to 14 since I'm not very satisfied with the mountain/Hill game play of PCM 2012, you know not enough seperation, big groups finishing in a mass sprint on a mountain top finish, etc...
So my question is, now also after the game has been patched, would PCM 14 be worth the purchase for me with my concerns?
