We head to spain for an interesting race. Its the final preperation for the Olympics and also another chance for the ProTour leaders to battle.
The top 4 riders are all here: Frank Schleck, Damiano Cunego, Alejandro Valverde and Danilo di Luca. Schleck and Cunego will look to perfect their form for the olympics, while Valverde is racing his last ProTour race of the season.
Last year's champion Samuel Sanchez is also here, and will also be heading to China once the race is over. Also looking to perfect their Olympics form are Gilbert, Boogerd, Pozzato and Schumacher. Davide Rebellin, Paolo Bettini and Riccardo Ricco are also potential threats.

Just to disppell any overexpectancy regarding the terrain of San Sebastien. Its hilly - Petacchi finished 86th, nearly 8 minutes down.
