NEWS
NEW CYCLING TEAM FORMED
A new cycling team has entered the world of cycling, Domino's-ASR. The American pizza company and the Dutch insurance company decided to work together to make a great new cycling team. The team will ride with an Australian license, which will be explained later on. Dutchman Marcovdw has been appointed as General Manager. This is the Dutchman's first job in the 'real' cycling world, after crushing the opponents in a computer cycling game called 'Pro Cycling Manager'. The squad and goals of the team are still to be announced.
JERSEY ANNOUNCED
In a press conference yesterday, the new jersey of Domino's-ASR was presented to the public. One of the world's famous shirt designer Jakstar22 is responsible for the design of the shirt. First reactions from the public were like 'oooooooh' and 'aaaaaaah'. The jersey can be found in the headquarters of Domino's-ASR, because it couldn't fit in this edition.
NO WT FOR DOMINO'S-ASR
Domino's-ASR will not ride in the World Tour this year. The team was among the 13 candidates for 6 places in the World Tour, but the team ended last in the procedure. Domino's-ASR will instead ride in the Continental Tour.

RIDER OF THE WEEK
Every week, a rider of the Domino's-ASR team will be crowned as 'Rider of the Week'. Also, a second and third place will be announced. The first place will get 3 points, second place 2 and third place 1 point. The decision will be made by the Gerenal Manager of Domino's-ASR Cycling Team. At the end of the year, a 'Rider of the Year' trophy will be awarderd to the rider with the most points scored.

Goodmorning, Marco. How were you appointed as GM by Domino's-ASR Cycling Team
Well, it's a weird story. Right across my street, there is a Domino's Pizza. One day, my mum wasn't in a mood to cook. So we decided to get some pizza. I went to Domino's and heard a phone call. The man behind the counter was talking about a cycling team, they still needed a General Manager, they wanted it to be someone unknown. Then i stepped forward and told the man that I was available as GM. I got a talk with the founders of the cycling team. ASR Verzekeringen would be co-sponsor and Kruidvat, Exact Software, Holden and AGL were the team's minor sponsors. I immediately said yes, when they offered me a contract.
How does the team get their Australian license
Well, at a certain point. ASR was thinking about withdrawing its sponsorship. Then, Holden came in and, if ASR would pull out, they wanted to be the new co-sponsor. But ASR decided to stay. Holden was very angry, but they accepted a contract as minor sponsor. But then, Holden payed a hugh amount of money to make the team an Australian team. And the team needed money, so we had a deal. AGL Energy (an Australian gas company) would be another minor sponsor and the team is riding with an Australian license.
What are your predictions for the new season
Well, we don't have a squad yet, so I can't tell you what's going to happen. For sure, we want a strong squad and we have a lot of money, but we must wait what the other teams in the CT will do.

NEWS
NO RIDERS SIGNED YET
Domino's-ASR hasn't signed riders yet. The team didn't show up at the draft this week. Other teams (mainly WT) already signed a lot of riders. Some of our "whislist riders" already signed with other teams. Matthew Goss, Robert Gesink and Tejay Van Garderen signed with respectively Pure Black-Genesis, Motorex-Credit Suisse and Globant-Telefe. General Manager Marcovdw promissed that they will sign some riders next week.
HEADQUARTERS OFFICIALY OPENED
This week, our headquarters was officialy opened. The location of the headquarters is secret, but rumours suggest it is placed in either Ann Arbor (Michigan, USA), Veenendaal (Netherlands) or Launceston (Tasmania, Australia).
B-SQUAD SALE
The team is thinking about selling some riders from the already formed "b-squad". More of this will be announced soon.

Goodmorning, Patrick. Why did Domino's Pizza wanted to set up their own cycling team
Goodmorning to you too. Domino's Pizza was already active as a sponsor in Nascar, but we decided we wanted to do more in sports. We had some options: we could have been main sponsor of a football clubs, we could have been sponsor of another sports team and many many more options. But we decided we wanted to set up our own cycling team, becuase everyone will call the team "Domino's", not "FOOTBALL CLUB" with us as sponsor.
How did you get in touch with ASR and why did they became co-sponsor
At first we wanted to set up our own cycling team. ASR also wanted to set up a cycling team. But ASR couldn't handle it on their own, so we decided to work together.
Do you think Domino's-ASR will be a very succesful cycling team
