Does the forum software allow for a feature along the lines of a Facebook "like"?
It would be a nice addition |

PCM Focus already has something like that, quite a nice feature indeed

I'd love to have that. It would save a lot of "+1" posts.....^
Would probably be a pain to implement though.

Not a fan of the idea either.
People would start writing comments to get as many likes as possible rather than actually posting useful stuff.

I dont know, but it could always be tested for about a month, just to see.
I think this forum could handle a "like" system more than other forums I've seen with it (which all seem to be doing well too).
And like I said it would save a lot of pointless posts with people "+1-ing".
If a Man-game reporter makes a report, those that read it, could like it (as posting in that topic is not allowed), so that he gets an idea of how many are reading the updates on time, and same with story writers.

True, but sometimes its easier to see it all in one place, although checking those threads isn't much of a hassle. And I guess you can still like a post 3 weeks later.
I still think a like system would be worth atleast trying it out.

I'd be in favor if there was a dislike button, for whenever Haedo fails miserably.

To be honest, I'd prefer another solution to that issue: that people simply stop posting those useless +1 posts.
Not really in favour of a Like button. Simply don't see the need. |

I agree, it's pretty annoying seeing a post with only "+1". Ironicly, it seems that the ones that want a "like-function" to get rid of useless posts, are the ones who are posting the useless +1-posts
There's a fine line between "psychotherapist" and "psycho the rapist"
