Is the new game worth the money? Haven't played PCM for a while and miss playing it, but I'm not interested in overpaying. So is it worth it?

I like the AI, the manager mode and the graphics and that's the most important thing for me. |

Right now no. Unless they create a patch thats fixes problems that actually matter(like startlists) and not just fixing that damn Armada mode this game is close to worthless right now. PCM11 is way better.

I don't really understand the whole startlist issue, what does it matter for in career mode anyway?

Just for Grand Tours. If you want to play a specific Grand Tour, say using a historic DB, it's a real nightmare to have the teams correctly populated with the riders you want. Not impossible but a headache.

Not missing out much, AI isn't much smart and after a while you can dominate everything. However for online racing track mode is much fun

It's hard to give you a general advice here. It depends a lot on what you expect from the game. There are some positive new things in some areas, and other negative things in other areas. It can be a fantastic game or a very bad game, depending on what you expect and want. You should ask more specific questions, then you'll get more useful answers.

Got the game today, interface looks nice, but not really functional.

If you are a hardcore Career Mode Player, I can say that there are improvements/new features (some might not call them improvements) however no features have been taken from that mode compared to last years game! But if you are a casual career moder and like to play online its a little riskier.
If you are only going to be playing online I would say not to get it.

I'd say worth it, you can now play on better graphics, with a better interface (after a whiie of getting used to it) and, most importantly for me, there are now continental teams as well as world tour and continental pro teams, which has also meant far more races.
Howvever, if you are a mainly multiplayer person, you might not like armade for a while or forever.
I don't know what game was your last, but if it's 2010 or earlier it's definitely worth it and if it's 2011 it's worth it as long as you play offline more than online. |
