I decided to try and resurrect the PCM.daily league on Xpert Eleven.
A simple game of football management for those who don't know it. I've been playing it for the last few years in a couple of different leagues. Quite enjoy it myself as it's a bit like the early days of football manager before it got to be quite such a stat fest.

Only one and a half rules for joining.
1. Your team must be named after a real life cycling team - either past or present.
1.5. Inactive managers will be sacked swiftly.

Excellent - nice response so far. Thanks all.
We have 16 teams already meaning I'll probably leave things a day or two longer and then create the season.
Anyone who has not played before and wants a bit of practise should know it's possible to create friendlies before the season starts.
Do it by clicking League Info >> Members >> Team Name >> Challenge Team
Everyone will start with weak teams and not a lot of money. Anyone have any questions about how to play or how the game works, just ask. |

I'm trying to find out how this works but I don't totally get it... (How) can you actually put players on the transfer list, and how can I see how much money I'll get in the future (or do I have to survive with 250000 econ)?
Also, is there anyone I can invite for a friendly? |

Ok - I've created the season. First one will have all 16 teams in one division with two games a week on Sunday and Wednesday.
Probably break it up into two divisions at the end of the first season and introduce a cup, but we'll see how this goes for now.
For those who've already arranged a friendly opportunity is there to slip one in on Wednesday too now I think.

Basically, the main way of getting money is by clicking "Do sponsor activity" from your team page. Appears every 10 days and you get 1m each time it comes up.
The economy basically works in a 10 day cycle, so another way to get cash is a press release - you get around 250k if you've put one out each period. You also get money at the end of the season if you win things or your players scoop an end of season award.
To sell a player, just go into the player details and transfer list him. As long as you have the minimum number of players in your team he goes on the transfer list. If you don't think you can sell him, sack him.
For new players, most important info I would say is in order to do well try to keep your players form high and aim for a Development value of 15 at season end so they improve. |
