Well, there's one news piece that's worth mentioning

It's just been officially announced that the Giro will begin with three stages in Denmark in 2012.
I won't really believe it until tomorrow, but there some signs that this is real.
We'll see.
Since I wrote that, I've come to believe it, though |

not too convinced of starting a major race in a different country that is MILES away
starting in Monaco is an option for me, as stage 1 could be Monaco-San Remo... starting in Denmark has a rest day on day 4 or 5 - which is a bit of a waste imo |

Well, the Giro did have a rest day after day 3 or 4 when it started in Netherlands last year. |

Would be cool if they use it, and specially if it's near the finish. |

It won't be near the finish as the stage - no matter how the route turns out - ends in Horsens. |

Wada is stating that certain amounts of nicotine are equal to doping. They are thinking about putting it on the list.
They do say that they don't wanna ban smoking, cause they know that it happends a lot in some sports, so the goal is not to ban smokers, but to capture the ones who use nicotine for their benefit.
Is Wada also trying to make a weird aprilsfool joke xD |
