We is very pleased to be welcoming you all to the African country of Burkina Faso. A race amounting to ten stages will entertain you:

Our officials will describe the stages for your pleasure.
Stage Une: A test for the teamworkings as together the teams must race for a short whiles, we measure a course of exactly 3.5km. Our sincerest sorries for messing up above graphic.
Stage Deus: Dis is flat, with sprint primers we have no hills whatsoever we are understanding that the riders have had themselves a season long.
Stage Trois to Stage Sies: No hills more of the same, we hopes you liking the relax.
Sept stage: WHAT we is using dis section again, the road is not suitable for racing! Sorry to say this professional riders a rough section 12km long near end of stage. Hoping no offence caused.
Stage eight to ten: Happy days three stages for relax and enjoy the scenery.
Also pleased are we to show the teams on display:

1. A.Blythe
2. S.Bennett
3. C.McConvey
4. J.Sergent
5. I.Stannard
6. W.Sulzberger
7. G.Thomas
I hear two men such as Blythe and Thomas can handle the poor road conditions for stage seven.

Cillit Bang
91. I.Kip
92. J.Claes
93. E.Hoffmann
94. A.Manan
95. E.Reekers
96. L.Tommersen
97. M.Zenagui
Do the team put the Burk in Burkina Faso?

EL AL
101. N.Hortig
102. T.Bucher
103. M.Burlutsky
104. D.Eliad
105. S.Haimy
106. N.Margalit
107. A.Wolff
We no recognize any of the talent, they all come from Israel.

11. B.Traksel
12. C.Cucinotta
13. M.Delage
14. E.Girardi
15. M.Lorenzetto
16. R.Sentjens
17. J.Vansummeren
Plenty of hardy Europeans here we gather. Some handy go faster men Cucinotta and Lorenzatto we see on our TV screens I am sure.

Quiksilver
21. S.Scheirlinckx
22. A.Davis
23. Z.Dempster
24. A.Flickinger
25. H.Godfrey
26. J.Gutiérrez Palacios
27. J.Murphy
We know of brand it sells well in high fashion shops. Davis is one big star and we very much like that Dempster and Gutierrez have flown over from Normandy special.

Pokerstars
31. K.Van Impe
32. D.Boucher
33. S.Clement
34. A.Geslin
35. R.Kluge
36. E.Mohs
37. N.Terpstra
Our young males are playing this on the world wide web - the internet is a glorious thing you find great wifi here. World class sprinter Mohs here with very tough north European robots.

Vespa
41. M.Quinziato
42. L.Ascani
43. A.Cappelle
44. D.Garbelli
45. O.Gatto
46. A.Pagoto
47. E.Verbist
We have a great many mopeds here, no engines allowed in racing of course! Gatto is quick for being in top ten many times, Verbist is reminding me of winner last year good on rough roads, curse that section.

51. J.Van Heerden
52. T.Butterfield
53. T.Kennaugh
54. M.Ladagnous
55. D.Millar
56. B.Wiggins
57. F.Willems
Our children will love this team and we take Van Heerden as one of our own Africanos. He is fast and very popular here to take high placing. We like Olympic star Wiggins Bradley here to support.

61. J.Haedo
62. J.Bol
63. P.Ghyllebert
64. B.Jacques-Maynes
65. T.Peterson
66. E.Weiss
67. T.Zirbel
Our beloved president drives one of these and we certainly know of JJ Haedo he mega fast - why he not win more often on TV?

71. L.Bernucci
72. D.Caccia
73. G.Cheula
74. A.Loddo
75. S.Masciarelli
76. L.Paolini
77. J.Perry
GOOOAAALL is dis the World cup, yes we love soccer and love cycling too. Someone told me Loddo would be winning, we don't like anti Van Heerden talk.

81. A.Gajek
82. G.Bagdonas
83. J.Kocjan
84. A.Kruopis
85. A.Kuchinski
86. J.Nazon
87. F.Pacheco
I think the team are frozen, they is like very cold solid water with eye protectors could give them the edge. They have riders who will throw themselves in fast finishes.
Thats it, please visit our country sometime. Enjoy the racing my freinds!
Schedule:
You may be relieved (or disappointed) to know I will be writing my reports properly!
Will squeeze in the opener later this evening.
Stage 2 and 3 Tuesday
Stage 4, 5 and 6 Wednesday
Stage 7 and 8 on Thursday
and the last two stages in Friday. As the cheesy guy from the tourist board says enjoy the racing!

Potentially racist but I can deal with it
Should be a good one for us. Strong-ish team for the TTT and Juan for the sprints. Hope last years results can be repeated. |

Loddo might be lucky to win a stage, but that's about it.

BTW Beagle you sure that Kluge winning Paris Tours counts as a 'stage win'?

The goal is 15 stage wins, not 15 wins.
You do have a PT stage win though, which will count

Stannard at the back ... useless AI. It does confirm a theory I had on TTTs, but thats hardly a consolation!

Hehehe. Vespa benefit from being one of the last to go I think. Still there were some riders with big motors in the team though - not really TT-ers though. |

What do you mean EL AL is reforming? The IDF might be dropping off as a sponsor, but the team will remain, and will still be Israeli.
No surprise though on the lackluster start from the Flying Jew Brigade.

one of my Northern European robots showed his strenght
tbh, I have mixture feelings from this stage...while Terpstra took surprising win in weird so-called sprint and fulfilled my "15 stage win" goal (14 CT + 1 PT) and Mohs became king of intermediate sprints in battle for 2 points, my leader for overall rankings, Roger Kluge, lost contact with main bunch...
looking forward to next stages

I was in a funny mood last night when I wrote the preview, so I decided to push the boundaries!

I was wondering how long you would keep the patience with the Israelis! Given that next year some may need a protour team to call home, I thought you may start to look to prune them down a bit. El-Al kinda remind me of Tabriz(and I wonder whether Mercedes may go down that route!), so looking at they have developed this year should be an interesting transfer season.
That second stage at the end, maybe I should have described it a bit clearer. One of the problems we have with pcm09 is the sprint trains try to form about 10km out. But the leadouts were all knackered by the intermediates, so the leadouts went forward and then went backwards out of the peleton! So the sprinters who had held back from going for the intermediates kinda darted around with no-one to follow (hey at least they didn't go backwards with their leadouts).
