Two last unpredictable flat classics occur in October. The weather in Europe can be a bit variable so we can expect the unexpected - but odds do usually favour a bunch sprint.
Paris Tours
First we have the lengthy Paris Tours.

Should really suit the sprinters, but it is a bit twist and tricky at the end of the stage so barouders have a chance also. The startlist:

Plenty of top sprinters on show here Goss will be bouyed by recent success in Franco Belge, Ciolek and Van Heerden have been a recent winners also. 100% Me have got Kennaugh for this one, whilst the Milka team have one of the best French chances in Casper. Davis, Van Avermart, Crocket and reigning champ Markov cannot be ruled out.
Meanwhile watch for some strongmen to attack in the finale.

Goss, Van Avermart, Davis, Van Heerden, Casper, Markov, Haedo, Napolitano and Ciolek are here once again and all should be reckoned with. 100% Me have perhaps there best sprint man Swift here with Cavendish. Meanwhile Italian teams Vespa, Intesa and Pirelli have good chances also with Steegmans, Lorenzatto and Loddo.
Possibly less chance for a late attack to win this one unless a windy race stops a potential chase down for a sprint.
Schedule:
This races likely to be posted towards the end of the week!

Steegmans last real chance to bring a smile to my face. No doubt he'll do something equallly as stupid as he did at Vattenfalls. |

Kluge victory for Pokerstars highlights an upcoming dilemna for the team. Loaning him out to the ProTour would make him a much more useful rider for 2013 - but he is already such an asset that losing him could impact on any 2012 promotion hopes. Pokerstars are significantly the best scorers here, climbing to 11th - and right back in the battle.
Ahead of them, Milka will be happiest. Bacardi may have hoped for more but remain ahead of Pendletons - and Lego were unable to close the gap at all, while Petronas failed to score. Theres good points for Bimbo in 14th, while Quiksilver, UniCredit and Intesa all scored to no positional gain.

LEGO sprinters fail a lot..
Lequatre isn't a that really bad sprinter or is he? I think he has flat/sprint/accleration at 73, except Kluge were the others infront a lot better? I bought him to hope he will get some breakaway wins as he has decent breakaway/sprinting stats
Ciolek 9th is just disappointing..
I hope, when we change to PCM10, that there could be more breakaway wins/surprising wins as I like to have 1-3 riders good breakaway riders and I can't remember a breakaway win of one of my riders

Bah, not good. That was Goss his last race. He did have a good season overall as one of the most consistent of the sprinter (if you can call sprinters consistent ).

I really don't like seeing my team work to bring the break back and then Steegmans not bothering to get in position for the sprint.
Good win for Napolitano - this race really suits him. |

He could still be useful next season. I don't think he'll accept the 50k I plan to offer him in renewals though. |
