The Circuit Franco-Belge is the final race before the worlds, and while there is no one aiming for victory in both, we still have one of the the strongest sprinting fields ever assembled. Swift, Mohs, Goss, Cavendish and 7 more sprinters with above 80 sprint.
This doesn't even include the bookmakers number 1 favourite, Luke Rowe who is being backed to get the result on the epically long stage 1.
After that every stage gets shorter and flatter, so expect to see the pure sprinters dominate, with this race decided on bonus seconds.

Last chance, Greipel?
Edit: Probably need to rely on attack again...

Theres a team, High Road I think, who has a goal to win the KoM jersey here.
And yes, hopefully this Ireland rematch will have the same end result

It is time to rotate the sprinters wheel of fortune once more.
Actually the first stage is interesting - it is probably long enough and tough enough to drop some of the riders and god knows what will happen if it is windy.
Could be quite a key one for those interested in promotion Lego, Milka, Pokerstars, Bacardi and Pendletons all have an interest here. All have had success on the flat stuff before it is an absolutely fantastic field (a bit like the Giro del Trentino was for mountains).
If my records are correct this is the last race of the season for Telenor - new sponsors too. It would be appropriate if Brown was actually to do something

Anyone who takes that KoM sprint is in for a good(ish) race, regardless of other results! |

Hill on stage one, probably the only reason. Sucks though, but it might be that Dumoulin is leader, and Mohs sprinter.

well, hopefully AI will change its mind to more logic one during race and set Mohs as clear leader with Dumoulin as possible lead-out

Whoever wins the first stage will probably win the race and the points jersey. |

Rowe was following a Pokerstars train. Bad mistake. And Wiggle chased all stage too, hence why it doesn't pay to have a strong squad for flat races. |

it´s always bad to follow something, what in fact doesn´t even exist

Good win that for Cav - especially on a stage with a climb. Could be set for a big win here. |

As soon as Swift followed the Mercedes train, I knew he was screwed. Fortunately Cavendish showed some sense, and its a great win.
