Im trying again at a story hopefully 4th time lucky, I will using the 2010 transfer update DB. I will be showing screenshots of the important races in the calendar and my sponsor goals, I have decided to do this because i have noticed that the low key races e.g. tour Down Under and continental races people wont be that interested about, than the Paris- Nice, Dauphine and the 3 grand tours. I will as always do my best to make it an interesting story. |

Cool, good luck with this. If i ever start up another career i would also just be focusing on the big races. Down Under and Quatar is boring
Will be tough to finish top 10 in the tour, unless you use trainingcamps of course |

Key riders for me this season

Efimkin will be a massive rider for me this season his 2 aims for the season are top 10 in the Dauphine as I would like to do well there and top 10 in the TDF, which is one of our team goals.

Valjavec will be our main rider for the Giro adn possibly the Vuelta, I hope and aim that he will finish in at least the top 15.

Roche will be aiming for victories in the ardennes classics max, least top 5, also he would like stag wins the grand tours this season, more importantly for a personal goal of his in the TDF. |

A new featue I will try out in my story is to involve the readers more, I will aim to do this by questions about the riders, team, the team chosen for the races and management. I will do my best to answer any questions that are asked. |

So far I am Planning to race Efimkin in Paris- Nice, which will be his first race of the season Veulta a Pais Vasco, Dauphine and the TDF, as a top 10 in the Tour is crucial for sponsors. Maybe La Vuelta providing on fitness and to end his season at Paris- Tours. I rate Efimkin as a very good rider and more than capable to finish in the top 10 in the Tour. |

oh sorry miss read, Alexander will base his season around helping/ supporting his twin brother get a top 10 place in the Tour, also he is likely to race the smaller races, Paris Tours, Tour of California, Vuelta a Catunlya and to end his season in the Giro Di Lombardia in support for Roche. This is pre season planning and may change if neccessary or injured riders. |

Thanks for pointing that out to me I think I will race him in Romandie, any other races you think will be good for my riders please post, I am more than welcome to listen to readers views and what they think to who should race where, it would provide more help for me in building and making this story successful. |

Updates, key points and results for the Tour Down under will begin tomorrow, with the Tour Down Under being a small race I will not be producing in race screenshots, maybe the key stage to Willunga. |

Tour Down Under
Stage 1:
Aims for the Stage:
A good sprint finish in the top 10
Get a rider in the break.

The stage was a quiet stage, a break of 8 riders went away with 100km to go, Maxime Bouet was involved but dropped off after 35km, couldnt cope with the pace. The break was finally reeled in at the 25km mark, they never pulled a huge gap out, max 3mins at one point. Down to the sprint, but first Elmiger got ambitous and went of the front of the peleton with 5km to go, used alot of energy doing son and finished 8th in the sprint, the sprint was very quick and aggressive, Pozzato taking the win.
A reletively good stage for us.

Press Coference to follow!! |

Stage 1 Press Conference
Media: How do you think your team rode also are you happy with the result?
DS: Im very happy with the riders performance during the stage, I thought they tried very hard to get us our first win of the season.
Media: Elmiger, are you happy with 8th place on the stage?
Elmiger: Im very happy with 8th place despite I used alot of energy trying to break of the front of the peleton in the 5km, which didn't pay off, im just glad I had enough energy left for good sprint.
Media: What was the initiative behind your move of the front of the peleton?
Elmiger: I knew there werent many out and out sprinters in the years race, so I though if I were to give it ago I will have a very good chance of staying out in front of the peleton, which I did until 2km to go. I felt good, I knew I had the power, so it was worth a try.
Media: You set the riders expectations for the race to get a rider into the break adn a top 10 finish on stage 1, looking back on it do you think those expectation could be upped for tomorrows stage?
DS: Yes of course I do, as a team you always want to finish first and do the best that you can do, Bouet got into the break but was unfortunate that it split, and Elmiger has a very good sprint on him, so yes I will set my expectations higher for tomorrows stage.
Media: Thank you. |

press conference is a good idea, but are you sure you will able to create original interviews again and again?
from my point of view, I would prefer more (and detailed, if you want to show or practise your english) stages reports |
