Crash opening the game

I can't open the game when i try there's a background music, the red cursor, a black screen and the crash. I think i tried everything but still doesn't work help plz. |

Do you have any savegames? I don't now if my problem was the same but it sounds like.. I read this thread and found out: https://community....ic&t=54650
His problem is much different then mine and properbly also yours, but i tried it and then it the game worked fine.
Notice that this will delete your savegames |

Selevt Run from the Start menu. Type in %AppData% and hit entet. Now a folder appears and here you'll hopefully find a folder called Pro Cycling Manager 2007 - erase that folder and try running your game again.
Do you have Vista btw? |

What doesn't work!? - you followed the small guide but you cannot make the game work or you the small guide doesn't work for you?
And do you have Vista? - and perhaps Intel Core 2 Duo?

what Mercury is saying about deleting the folder is 100% correct, i have no idea how it still doesn't work if you follow his instructions
obviously if you have Vista then that's another reason

Well, actually not - he should arrive in the right folder if he follows my instructions - no matter what OS he uses. But if he indeed does use Vista I have another possible solution for him.

I've got Vista and the same problem with crash. I've erased folder which Mercury pointed. It still doesn't work. The game crashes after red cursor appears. Are there any other tricks to fix that? |

I've reinstalled the game several times and have tried all possibilities - with or without patches. Results negative. |

I've erased folder too and it didn't work too but when I looked at the same folder again after erasing it was still there |
