''Earlier today, the UCI advised Luxembourger Fränk Schleck (RadioShack-Nissan) of an Adverse Analytical Finding in a urine sample collected from him at an in-competition test at the Tour de France on July 14, 2012.
The WADA accredited laboratory in Châtenay-Malabry detected the presence of the diuretic Xipamide in Schleck's urine sample.''

My thoughts:
The corrupt Luxembourg federation didn't convict him when it was proven he was paying Fuentes for dope, so they might find a way to get him off scot free this time

Kolobnew got away with a 1200€ fine. Schleck should have even better lawyers, so please don´t celebrate too early.

A positive test for a substance that is not performance-enhancing but makes you piss all the time as your body releases more water than usual. Thus the concentration of other substances (e.g EPO) gets smaller and they are more difficult to detect.

What did i say , and for how long did i say it
But it doesnt change anything. The elite are all doped as always, and its hopefully equally available for everybody. F. Schleck is so much slower than his Brother and Contador. We have status quo since the armstrong epoke |
