 Copenhagen-Malmo TTT
It's the 20th edition for this Pro Tour team time trial classic. The first five seasons it was called the Eindhoven TTT before adopting its current name as the Copenhagen-Malmo TTT. It's 58.6kms of flat roads with the majority of the course on the Øresund Bridge that spans 16.4kms from Denmark over to Sweden.
The fourth-longest bridge in Europe is majestic and offers stunning views. While most teams come here to compete, this mandatory Pro Tour race also offers weaker teams at least a memorable TTT picture for the HQ showroom.
Before getting into the teams looking to win this edition, let's take a trip down memory lane at the teams that have podiumed here in the past.

The five-year reign of terror by EA Vesuvio will come to an end tomorrow. Following their disbandment this offseason, a new team champion will be crowned for the first time in a very long time.
Five out of the eight riders from EA Vesuvio's winning squad last year have return but find themselves on five different teams: Wirtgen (Specialized), Munton (Xero Racing), Tanfield (Indosat), Wurtz (Polar), and Pelikan (DK Zalgiris). Not present are Rei Onodera, Stefan De Bod, and Edoardo Affini.
Wirtgen, Munton, Tanfield, and Pelikan were with EA Vesuvio for all five consecutive wins. Tanfield crossed the line first and stood on the podium for three straight years (2022-24). The Brit finds himself on one of the favourites again this season with Indosat Ooredoo and a chance to go 6-for-6.
Two-time World ITT Champion Wurtz also won the 2020 edition with Grieg-Maersk. But won't have much help this year from his Polar squad in attendance.
Let's breakdown the 24 teams:
| TTT AVG | Top 3 | Best Rider | Top Result | King Power | 78.3 | 79.3 | Ganna & Mano (80) | 3rd (2025) | Indosat Ooredoo | 78.1 | 80.7 | Dunbar (82) | 16th (2025) | ELCO - ABEA | 77.5 | 78.0 | Five Riders (78) | 7th (25'/23') | DK Zalgiris | 77.0 | 80.0 | Kmieliauskas (82) | -- | Tinkoff - L.D. | 76.5 | 78.7 | Two Riders (79) | 1st (19'/16') | Xero Racing | 76.5 | 78.3 | Herregodts (79) | 21st (25'/21') | L.P. Hermanos | 76.4 | 79.0 | Ocampo (82) | 8th (2025) | Hunter Valley | 75.5 | 77.3 | Two Riders (78) | -- | Specialized | 75.4 | 79.7 | Wirtgen (84) | -- | Ekoi - Renault | 74.3 | 77.3 | Brunel (78) | -- | Gazelle | 74.0 | 75.7 | Leknessund (78) | 1st (2018) | Evonik - ELKO | 73.6 | 76.7 | Oliveira (79) | 13th (2024) | Duvel - Tsingtao | 71.8 | 75.7 | Thomas (78) | -- | Carlsberg - D.B. | 71.6 | 76.0 | Norsgaard (79) | 9th (2017) | Rabobank | 71.3 | 75.7 | Evenepoel (81) | 17th (2024) | Cedevita | 71.1 | 76.0 | Groselj (77) | 2nd (2023) | Bolt - Eesti | 70.0 | 73.3 | Dulanjana (74) | -- | Fastned | 69.5 | 74.7 | Hessmann (78) | 4th (2025) | MOL Cycling | 69.6 | 75.0 | Rekita (79) | 15th (2022) | Grieg-Maersk | 68.6 | 75.0 | Foss (77) | 1st (2020) | Polar | 67.5 | 73.3 | Wurtz (83) | 2nd (25'/22') | cycleYorkshire | 66.5 | 70.7 | Ben Ameur (74) | 4th (2020) | Assa Abloy | 63.7 | 66.7 | Murillo (70) | 23rd (2024) | Aker - Ab InBev | 61.0 | 66.0 | Van Hemelen (69) | 4th (2022) |
That's a good starting point, we will go a little more in-depth on each team during the race report. But, for now, this will be sufficient. Looking forward to seeing which team can claim EA Vesuvio's abandoned Scandinavia throne!

I guess we'll try to score some tiny amount of points here, obviously not much to hope for.

With only the top 22 receiving any points, looks like we're in for our first zero-pointer since the last time we raced here. Hopefully we won't get in the way for any other team

There's real hope for a top 10 result here which would make this our best scoring race of the month (at least PpRD wise).
Thanks for the preview and I'm looking forward to the deeper insights in the report!

We won the first TTT of the season, but this is the most difficult one to get right. I Can Only hope that the similar composition of our riders Can move us up a bit. Theoretically we should be around 3rd here, but we have often underperformed here unfortunately.

Actually a race I think we should be decent in. The aim here is a top 5 which I think is very achievable

Refuse to bet against King Power although I'm excited to see what Indosat can Ooredoo.
Maybe Los Pollos Hermanos can show out and show they can put together a competitive team sometimes.

Enjoyed that new way of covering for a TTT! Could be because it also gave our team a lot more PR than what it was supposed to get. Spot on in your review, must admit I enjoyed the final line about Norwegian fans and “whatever this was”
Congratulations to Eden! Really clinching it on the final stretch, as I really thought King Power had it bagged understanding they were in the clear lead on the final time check. |

Small gaps in positions 13-16. Looks like we got lucky with a high roll and came away with a few extra points.
Very nice format for the TTT reports, thank you Mre

Congrats to Eden and thank you for the extensive coverage of the race, Mre!
A top 10 was what we hoped for, a top 10 we got, so this has been a nice race for us (despite the weather).

Sorry, have been tending to a few personal things the last week or so so missed the preview for this.
Stoked to take a win home here, massive massive result for us! Beating the big boys here is definitely a surprise, especially after the lacklustre TTT in PN. Think this is only the second TTT we’ve won in 12 seasons
Thanks for the report, definitely liked the unique format as well.
