There are still KOM points, but we have four intermediate sprints on the menu. A few minor bumps on the profile today, but expect another bunch sprint.
We have three riders off the front to begin in Walton, Politt and Boulahoite. The peloton looked content to let these three go, but more attacks are coming and we'll see if this break makes it.
The trio of escapeees are today's breakaway riders and we join them as they reach the 1st sprint of the day. Boulahoite wins the sprint ahead of Walton. Sureda and Kelly take the remaining points from the peloton.
The 2nd sprint marks roughly the halfway mark of the stage. We have same result with Boulahoite winning again as he's going for that U25 white jersey. Russo and Hayakawa take the final points on offer.
The breakaway is caught now so the 3rd sprint is contested by the peloton. Sureda wins it ahead of Kelly and Russo.
The final intermediate sprint is 20 km from the finish line. Losch wins the sprint with Hayakawa 2nd and Sureda 3rd. The latter making up some ground in the points classification, but with 50 pts at the finish it's winning there that counts.

Less than 2 km to go Baterdene hits the front with his leadout. The other trains are also on their last rider.
Everyone the right side including Russo have jumped on the Simba Cement leadout. Alaphilippe and Fiorelli are doing their work on the other side.
Marin is the first one to launch his sprint and he's in front with 400 m left. Sureda is 2nd on the road. Russo, Prieto and Losch are following.
No one can get past Marin! He wins it by half a bike length! Russo pips Sureda on the line for 2nd place.
Gabriel Marin gets the 1st win for the new team Karthago! Tivani remains the GC and points leader with Sureda in 2nd place now. Boulahoite will wear white tommorow after his efforts in the breakaway.
