A good of a start for Remco as one could hope for.
SKA losing to not one, but two King Power riders

It's either that or BBL's motivational techniques aren't as good as Embers
Or it's simply King Power's year to win the title.

Nice redemption by Larsen, living up to his Top 5 status for once. 4th is perfectly fine, the three above him being clearly stronger.
Also a great result by F. Christen, claiming white in his first prologue of the year
Schmid quite far back, now it's just attacking on every single day!
Congrats to King Power, thanks for the report.

Damn you Fabio Christen!
Planned Uhiriwe here deliberately to get the U25 Jersey, as I predicted all his competitors to be in Paris-Nice. Didn’t account for Wildcards

This is already becoming frustrating. You bring a guy in specifically to win these races, which he's done without fail for many years. No stats change, no game engine change, but he can't do it anymore. I know it's dramatic to say this stuff after only two stages, but we don't have that many flat prologue opportunities this year, and he's already busted in the two most important. Really disheartening after spending all that cash.
Thanks for the report.

Strong start for Aranburu. Thought he had a shot a podium, but we'll take 4th for sure. We'll need a bit more selection going forward to feature in the GC after the prologue. Hopefully that comes at some point.
Congrats to Fabianski!

Not a stage win, but second and moving into the lead is fantastic. Leading both Paris - Nice and Tirreno at the same time is pretty cool.

Strong stage from De Plus here. Too bad the gaps were pretty much non existing. A 3rd place doesn’t give enough bonus seconds to make up for the poor prologue.

Plapp looks really strong here and Oliveira also survived the stage in the lead pack. In an ideal world both of them can defend their position. At least none of them attempted a pointless 40km solo attack. Not that anyone would be stupid enough to do so when in a great position to get a strong result.

Some loanee breakaway action, love to see it. Let's see if he can keep fighting for the polkadots. Thank you for the great report.

Well... If this is how Buchmann is handled, I fear the worst. No way there should be a reason to ignore bonus seconds here by Vansevenant. Missed stage opportunity due to bad team tactics.
Let's hope to not see those tactics a lot more often.
Thanks for the report. |

Sort of a very bad start by Valter, unfortunately. Not sure if he just didn't have any kick at all, or if Geniets and others kind of blocked him all the way to the finish line. Really hope for the latter, and that he will improve as the race progresses! |

Great stage by Mauro In his first hilly race post-training, he instantly gets us a win, and even on PT level. Looks like we didn't do it all wrong
Obviously he'll need to carry this form into scoring races, but from what I've seen in testing - and now in live racing - I'm rather positive for his stage races to come
Now let's see how he handles 200km+ stages, and let's also hope for some gaps to turn his great early form into a nice GC result
Thanks for the report.
