Disappointed by the completely anonymity from the team. Had hoped the stage might suit Moschetti but it was slightly too hard. Would've appreciated seeing someone like Froidevaux in the break... |

Weird stage. Can anyone let me know if stages like this are normal in this PCM? Strange that the pure sprinters and even some of the hilly sprinters didn't bother to contest.
This stage is raced harder then it looks on profile and most of the time the sprinters never get back to the front the downhill run to the finish means positions are also hard to make up so really there only 5km to line for positions to be made so it's more like a sprint between hill riders.
Worked pretty much as intended as well so pretty happy with the result overall took a long time for me and UU to find this type of stage
Moscon wise very good attentive to the attacks and in a nice position for the sprint he will never be a factor in hopefully hes as attentive on stage 5 |

Had hoped Kalaba could play a role in this stage, but keeping AvN at the front is more important overall

Ah makes sense, thought it looked longer on the profile but I guess the short stage does that. Glad it's intended and not some classic PCM weirdness then.

I can't gurantee they'll all work as well as this so me and UU will take the little wins |

Much better stage for us. MVD doing what he had to, Boileau showing he can hang it with the best. Would've preferred the order to be the other way round but can't really complain about two in the Top 5.
Congrats to Fab and thanks for the report

Not the best day one, but wasn't awful, trains can be a real crapshoot and i'm sure next time it'll work out.
Day two meanwhile was great. Lagane doing exactly what he was brought here for, showing good strength (and his usual weakness of not being able to capitalise on presented opporunities). Eriksson burried nicely in there around the other major expected protagonists too.
Still feeling good.
