I'm a bit disappointed to see my boy Christodoulos move on. I thought he might be a long term fixture due to your dedication to having a solid TTT. I guess SotD had to get him at some point
The signing of Demare for just 50k is very shrewd. I think he can still function well in a few races.

Clearly anything with a TTT is going to be a nice race for you. Just need to hope Eastman (the most relegated rider in PCT) bucks the trend this year!
Hope you enjoyed the freedom of this transfer window, how did you think it went? I know for us, it was a challenging transfer season, with so many competitive teams/managers in the game and excellent fighting by the new managers!

I look forward to the Olympia TTT! You’re likely setting the standard for PCT TTT if I’m not missing anyone!
Excited to see Habtemichael a level above as well

Almost all of your leaders - Bol, Uhlig, Narvaez, Habtemichael, maybe Eastman as well at this point - are just below the top level, which introduces some variance to the projection. But if they can live up to their potential with some consistency, I don't think you have that much to fear, to be honest. Your TTT squad gives you a great baseline, too, and you have good depth on all terrains as well. It's not impossible that you're in the relegation battle, but I would be surprised if it gets really close.

@TMM - Yes its a bigger changeout than I was planning, and I noticed we were after some of the same riders.
@red - I can't resist the SotD charms during transfers! Demare for 50k is a shot to nothing, he might still have something.
@Booker - I don't need Eastman to have a great season, hope that means we can dodge the jinx. I felt transfers with experienced managers having bags of cash meant riders were going for higher wages than I expected and meant switching targets quite frequently. I ended up with about 100 riders on the tracker.
@sean - With 3 age 32 TT riders I went for the TTT as a "now or never". Habtemichael did OK in C1 races last year, hope he can repeat this year.
@cunego - I am hoping my sub-top group can deliver. Points wise 5*15th GC = 1*5th GC. I am hoping my TTT squad can elevate the GC spots enough in those few races. There is some variability and AI weirdness to add to the mix, I hope you are right about dodging relegation.

Wow, you make almost a new team as a new manager in CT |

All terrains are covered with lots of depth across all of then. Top end scoring will be limited, but the depth scoring could be what makes the difference!

Some classic Kraftwerk (Rohan) depth. Hope Narvaez does well, combining him with the right TTT team can help in a few races.

As Ulrich says, even with the slightly unnerving (at first) difference in the names and faces on the roster, the classic D2B depth and quality is still there
24/02/21 - kandesbunzler said “I don't drink famous people."
15/08/22 - SotD said "Your [jandal's] humour is overrated"
11/06/24 - knockout said "Winning is fine I guess. Truth be told this felt completely unimportant."

I hope the strong TT unit will keep you over the line, but I fear your leaders are just that bit sub-par to make it a long and thrilling fight against relegation.

@jaxika - yes lots of new faces and possibly thinking ahead, if I return to CT I will have a good base.
@Abhi - I always like to have someone to cheer on in every race, I don't think the AI cares about depth scoring so I need quite a lot of luck and good planning to keep the scoring ticking over.
@UU We are giving Narvaez lots of chances to show us his skill set, he might be able to make the difference.
@jandal - I haven't got used to the name change yet! Keep having to correct Kraftwerk to Riders of Rohan I like depth in all terrain but its not a good recipe for success.
@kb - At least I have 1 thing (TTT) the team is best at which is nice. Having looked at the season database I tend to agree the competition is too strong and a return to CT is likely. That used to be a big issue for me but having returned to CT and had fun I am not too concerned, what will be will be.
