Continuing our trend of announcements this transfer window, we will present to you another combination of a senior rider and a talent!

Boileau joins us from recently promoted Ekoi, in a deal which saw Arias Villanueva going in the opposite direction. He will mostly serve as the chief domestique for MVD this season, and will fill in elsewhere as required.

Novak is our third signing of the season, and the first of those who will specialize on the climbs. We are still undecided about the exact path to take him on, but we do have our favourite already.

Another day, another update about incomings. We have been able to keep the streak going where we announce a senior rider and a talent together!

Scotson is a rider we have admired for a couple of seasons now for his versatility. He will join us to provide extra firepower to our TTT and cobbles squads. We expect him to continue with his fine form from past seasons.

Vinokurov is a rider we tried to sign in his neo-pro year but we were not successful at the time. We are delighted that he will now be joining up with the team as an extra man in our hills department.

@redordead: The target indeed is to try to get back to the PT at the first attempt! Feels great to have finally got Lampawog (and Conci!). We hope our talents do live up to your, and our, expectations

@knockout: We decided quite early that we would be going for the depth approach this season. Hoping we can achieve that with the team we have assembled.

We break the trend and bring to you only one signing in our final transfer update, along with the riders going out on loan for the season and the permanent departures.

Domgjoni found his way to our team in the closing stages of transfers, and we were not able to move him on despite putting him up for sale. He will be a water carrier for the season across multiple terrains and is unlikely to make it past renewals in the off-season!

Haig is obviously the big name departure, landing us a big fee and an important rider for the season. We ended selling all but one rider we put up for sale.

A very interesting aspect of this transfer window for us was that we did not spend any money in new signings, getting them either as FAs or as a part of deals to sell our riders! Our total spending was 15,000, which was equally spread across the three leevl three loan-outs.

Mick Van Dijke had an excellent season in the PT hilly stage races but struggled to be competitive in the classics, and that is the area we wanted to address with the off-season training program. We have always had a great heritage of strong punchers in the team (yes, Wilco, we said something nice about you!), and we hope Mick will continue that legacy with this improvement!

Third time's the charm! We have been pursuing Lampawog for the past two seasons, but like us, his past team also valued him highly. When the chance came to be able to sign him this off-season, we made him our top FA priority! In order to celebrate signing with us, we sent him to train in the hardest cobbles roads we could find in the country, and he has come back better and stronger in that area!
