Just like your tracking tool, your transfers seem to be working out quite good so far Onodera can score some nice TT points, and the sprinters you've signed should be able to do the same in CT!

As the end of the transfer window swings into view our roster nears completion, with three more riders joining in the past few days. Up first is our initial GC signing (by way of transfer), the veteran Italian all-rounder Fausto Masnada. At this stage of his career we do not expect Fausto to compete for GC victories, even at the CT level. However, we hope his completeness and experience will combine to provide a steady stream of points through consistent placings, especially in tours that include ample TT kilometers within which he can make back some gaps to the purer climbers.
| Nat. | Name | FL | MO | MM | HI | TT | ST | RS | RC | CB | SP | AC | FG | DH | PR | OVR | Age | Wage | | Masnada | 70 | 76 | 76 | 75 | 72 | 75 | 74 | 71 | 59 | 62 | 72 | 68 | 70 | 69 | 75.25 | 33 | 125000 |
He is joined by pair of additional domestiques, the Czech rouleur Daniel Turek and the Italian climber Mattia Bais. Although we expect Daniel may score some points here and there through TT placings, the primary goal of both will be to support the leadership as strong, dependable teammates throughout a variety of terrains.
| Nat. | Name | FL | MO | MM | HI | TT | ST | RS | RC | CB | SP | AC | FG | DH | PR | OVR | Age | Wage | | Turek | 72 | 63 | 65 | 67 | 76 | 70 | 71 | 69 | 57 | 60 | 66 | 70 | 59 | 75 | 72.58 | 33 | 50000 | | Bais | 66 | 70 | 71 | 72 | 58 | 72 | 71 | 71 | 58 | 62 | 69 | 70 | 64 | 58 | 71.32 | 30 | 50000 |

Not sure what the GC field will look like in CT, but I wouldn't be surprised if Masnada is still sneaky good with his fun stat combo

Fincantieri - Grand Seiko has completed three additional signings for the coming season. First is the veteran climber Dion Smith. The New Zealander spent last year helping an Italian team promote to the PCT, and we hope he repeats the feat by contributing to our points return, especially in the high mountains and through placings in the general classification of the harder races on the CT calendar.
| Nat. | Name | FL | MO | MM | HI | TT | ST | RS | RC | CB | SP | AC | FG | DH | PR | OVR | Age | Wage | | Smith | 68 | 77 | 76 | 74 | 67 | 70 | 72 | 73 | 58 | 65 | 72 | 74 | 70 | 64 | 74.77 | 33 | 100000 |
He is joined by a pair of juniors. First is the high potential Italian Ludovico Crescioli, who projects out as an excellent rouleur and elite breakaway artist.
| Nat. | Name | FL | MO | MM | HI | TT | ST | RS | RC | CB | SP | AC | FG | DH | PR | OVR | Age | Wage | | Crescioli | 66 | 64 | 65 | 63 | 53 | 67 | 68 | 67 | 62 | 61 | 69 | 71 | 71 | 60 | 66.07 | 23 | 20000 | | Fighter | 76 | 67 | 68 | 67 | 56 | 73 | 74 | 71 | 65 | 64 | 75 | 81 | 74 | 63 | | | |
Second is the young Swiss talent Jonas Muller, who we hope will develop into a puncheur with a kick, able to contribute to the team on versatile parcours.
| Nat. | Name | FL | MO | MM | HI | TT | ST | RS | RC | CB | SP | AC | FG | DH | PR | OVR | Age | Wage | | Muller | 69 | 62 | 65 | 68 | 59 | 66 | 64 | 61 | 54 | 67 | 69 | 64 | 61 | 59 | 68.47 | 22 | 20000 | | Hillsv1 | 72 | 65 | 70 | 76 | 59 | 73 | 68 | 62 | 54 | 72 | 74 | 69 | 62 | 59 | | | |
With these three signings, Fincantieri - Grand Seiko now considers our transfer window to be closed. The final roster will depend only on our draft additions. |

A bit disappointed that I didn't have the possibility to bring Muller in as a regular FA, but good to see he gets at least one level-up (I hope).
Love to see Masnada on your team, I'm sure he'll do well in CT! Had him in my first year as a lvl4 rider with similar stats, and he did a good job
Just beware of greedy guy Aebi's renewals demands, good to see he got punished with quite a bit less than what I offered him... Still sad to lose him, but I guess he arrived in a good team.

Given the quality of Stüssi and others, Masnada and Smith pulling out some decent placings is likely to be all I can really hope for in the GC front, I suspect.
And yeah, both juniors look set to gain a level this season. Muller projects out as a very nice piece at the PCT/CT level, so will certainly prioritize his development. |

In the draft the team selected our two preferred picks, Filippo Fiorelli and Sohei Kaneko, both of whom will ride as versatile domestiques.

I like the build. No big major leader, but Langelotti, Masnada and Smith should help you a lot. Will also be fun to see how Onodera and Kinoshita does!
With his Flat I also like Aquilani at this level, though he in general is more of a leadout than a sprinter in my eyes. Still with the right situation and some luck I wouldn't be surprised if he makes me eat my words

Hope you enjoyed your first transfer season! I really like how you built around your focus regions both with veterans and rookies. This should be one of the better hill squads of CT, and Masnada and Smith give you good chances in the mountains, as does Onodera in TTs.
Like Heine, I have my doubts about Aquilani, specifically if and how the AI will prioritize him in sprint preparations. But who knows. Punting on cobbles completely is also a reasonable decision as a newcomer, I think. Outside of the one mandatory one, those races should be easy enough to avoid.

Yeah I don't expect Aquilani to pick up any true flat field sprints, but hopefully his versatility and recovery means there are some where he's coming in fresher than the faster competition and can find some placings.
Really the way I'd see a successful season playing out is a run of really strong results in the hills and with Onodera in the TTs, the GC and sprint teams just consistently clocking the minor placings, and maybe some breakaway luck. |

Really cool squad with a lot of depth for a new team. I really like both the Langellotti and Kinoshita signings on their own, though I wonder how the game will handle them together in practice. Best of luck this year!
