Free Agent Signing #1: Sergey Luchshenko
Sergey Luchshenko (32)| FL | MO | MM | HI | TT | ST | RS | RC | CB | SP | AC | FG | DH | PR | | 72 | 65 | 70 | 75 | 63 | 77 | 72 | 78 | 63 | 75 | 75 | 71 | 72 | 65 |
Our first confirmed signing of the 2026 transfer window is Sergey Luchshenko. The 32 year old Kazakh joins us on a 50,000 contract.
He is a punchy sprinter with equal strengths on shorter hills and in sprints. It's an archetype Evonik relied on heavily in the past with Simon Geschke and Michael Van Stayen and we are excited to finally have one again. While he might not be a traditional PT leader, he will surely lead us in lots of sprint stages across the different stage races. But he will also fill in as a valuable domestique in hilly classics.

Absolute steal! I'm really surprised to not see a couple of CT teams spend atleast 75K on a rider like this. But phenomenal pick up for you

Perennial 'he should do something' but he never ever does. Basically why I didn't even consider him, but maybe in PT things will change for him

i absolutely loved the pickup and expected him to get more expensive. At the same time i understand quadsas that he doesnt really have the track record to back it up with lots of results. We'll see if im lucky there...

Great pick up for min wage! I'm guessing we can re-read this comment for next few FA signings

That's a typical Evonik signing: someone on minimum wage with a big upside if he works out and no real downside if he doesn't.

Free Agent Signing #2: Kobe Goossens
Kobe Goossens (30)| FL | MO | MM | HI | TT | ST | RS | RC | CB | SP | AC | FG | DH | PR | | 73 | 72 | 73 | 73 | 67 | 71 | 75 | 71 | 68 | 64 | 70 | 73 | 73 | 67 |
Kobe Gooseens joins us on a minimum wage contract. He might not be a flashy signing but he is a very solid allrounder with skills on many terrains. Strengths on the flat, long and short climbs and we think he can play a factor on the flemish cobblestones as well. We expect him to quickly be a trusted team mate for almost all of our leaders.

Nemo - Certainly an interesting guy to throw into all sorts of stage race / GT sprints. If nothing else, he should be fun to follow
Abhi - Thanks. There will be at least a fair few of these posts and i like a lot of them
kandes - Nice words. There are worse things than to be known for minimum riders with quite a bit of upside

Thank you!
Free Agent Signing #3: Joshua Gayral
Joshua Gayral (29)| FL | MO | MM | HI | TT | ST | RS | RC | CB | SP | AC | FG | DH | PR | | 74 | 65 | 69 | 72 | 71 | 70 | 71 | 72 | 71 | 71 | 72 | 75 | 62 | 71 |
Our third signing of the first night of transfers is Joshua Gayral from Antigua and Barbuda who also signs a 50,000€ contract with us.
Joshua is a versatile classic specialist who can be an asset on cobbles and in the hills. His punch in reduced group sprints also makes him an interesting break rider for the flatter stages.

tmm - I expected nothing else.
Free Agent Signing #4: Adne Holter
Adne Holter (26) | Lvl. 3.30| Nat. | Name | FL | MO | MM | HI | TT | ST | RS | RC | CB | SP | AC | FG | DH | PR | | Adne Holter | 72 | 67 | 68 | 69 | 65 | 70 | 70 | 63 | 64 | 64 | 68 | 70 | 72 | 67 | | Adne Holter | 76 | 73 | 72 | 71 | 66 | 74 | 75 | 66 | 65 | 65 | 72 | 74 | 76 | 67 |
And the fourth free agent signing of the first day of transfers is Adne Holter. Just like the previous trio, he signed a 50,000 contract.
Adne is a young rouleur who prefers long classics over stage races. He is a fairly capable climber as well. We want him to develop his climbing ability further to see him as a domestique with strengths on climbs and on the flats. We think that this will also lead to good breakaway opportunities once developed. We are excited to see his future and believe that he will be useful for the team from day 1.

All great well rounded and useful riders at 50k! Luchshenko had to be the “star” and likely to come through with some surprising sprint results for sure. Great job so far, although who is surprised?!

Very cool maxed stats for Holter. Can’t understand how he was picked for 50K with so many teams with Scandinavian focus. Nice little gem

sean - Especially for the weaker riders of the squad it is very important to me that they are well rounded and useful across different types of races. Glad we could find a couple of those already!
sotd - Clear sign that there are too many scandinavian talents and too little baltic talents added!
Free Agent Signing #5: Arthur Kluckers
Arthur Kluckers (26) | Lvl 3.20| FL | MO | MM | HI | TT | ST | RS | RC | CB | SP | AC | FG | DH | PR | | 73 | 63 | 67 | 70 | 72 | 67 | 71 | 69 | 68 | 65 | 66 | 73 | 67 | 72 | | 77 | 63 | 68 | 72 | 76 | 70 | 75 | 71 | 70 | 65 | 67 | 75 | 67 | 76 |
We continue adding late developing talent to our roster as Arthur Kluckers signed a 50,000 contract.
Klucker is another rouleur who can ride fast over shorter hills but can also help out in cobbled races. We want to sharpen this skillset and further improve his power on the flat as well as his classics abilities. Despite his relative inexperience, we think he will be a valuable help already now.
