Do you feel you spend way too much time manually calculating and looking at development paths for talents?
I know the answer is "No, you can never to that", but what if I tell you that there exists a better way? Behold the magic of the Mangame_Rider_Development_v1 (in truth, the V15 or something, but considering it is the first public version it is the v1)
https://www.dropbox.com/scl/fi/ny1o46...4&dl=0
Hopefully this is easy to download
As far as I know I only got it working on PC and not on phone
What is this?
This is a file that makes the development paths (the new ones) easy to navigate and compare.
How is it used?
There are 3 pages:
1) Datebase: Here you can select rider on the left side and then select different development paths and compare them (path 1 and 2) You will see how the rider looks afterwards and the difference between the paths chosen.
2: All riders (table): Here you see a table with all the riders (4.99 and down on xp level) and you can select different development paths. Notice that you wont see development without toggling between current stats and developet stats. If you click on a name it will take you to the database site.
3: Manual entry: Wanna check out a rider? Either set him up yourself or copy from an excel. Then look at developments for him
You should be able to upload a new database and it will overwrite. This I have not really tested as I have just used it on the latest version of the db
Hope poeple will enjoy this! If you have any questions or something is not working don't hesitate to contact me. Don't be afraid to download it It's an html file and should run in any browser, even though I've just done it in Chrome

Heine - taking the fun out of fiddling with several Excel files at a time since ... 2026?
But seriously, this will make live much easier for many managers!

Upset I can't look through every DB and work out maths and still get it wrong but such an awesome thing to do Heine! Thanks for that!

I haven't had time to fiddle with this yet, but sounds really cool. Thanks Heine.
Should it be added to the useful links? Perhaps, the forum code tool could be there as well?

This is very, very cool! Love the "graphic", which gives a completely new experience to the MG and the fun riders and talents hunting |

I have made a small update after a suggestion. I have added the logic from the OVL macro so that you in the top when looking at talent will see the future OVL (disclaimer that the formula is just stolen from the macro and a test showed it was same / within ~0,01 OVL)
I just updated last link so you can just redownload / open that one

Not sure whether I like the OVL formula to be leaked... To be honest: yes, I know how to find it in the Excel, but I supposed there was a reason for it to be hidden (probably to avoid discussions), so I never used it in any way. I'm sure most people just would use it as a "comfort function" in your tool, but I can see some questions/discussions incoming now... Maybe I'm just pessimistic, but I know there are some other nerds out there

Just tell me if you admins want it removed and I will do it Though in theory you could do the same as you can here by running the macro. I got a PM from someone unable to run the macro in excel if I could add it

Macro will be updated next season for independent MM, so doesn't really matter

But even with new OVL formula next year, I think there should be a general consensus on whether the formula is public for everyone or whether it should be "protected". Yes, there are always ways to still get it, but if admins decide not to publish it, managers should respect that. I'd prefer it to be public, so everyone's on the same page (and can make concrete suggestions to improve it).

We can surely discuss it post transfers in the suggestions thread.
