The Race Profiles forum for the 2026 season is now online. Like the last few years, it is ordered by race category. You will always be able to find them via the search function. Race clashes are correct in the calendar file and should be in the profile threads. So in case it`s different there, the calendar file always is the correct and used one. An important thing to remember when looking at the race profiles with a time trial symbol: a white clock is an ITT, a TT symbol with a jersey in it is a TTT.
It is also now possible for you to decide on your team goals.
Team Goals form a vital part of each team's season. In the short term, how hard goals you pick will determine your final budget - but in the longer term, how well you achieve those goals in the season will have a significant effect on your budget for the following season.
Going for harder goals could reward you greatly if you achieve them, but will punish you if you fail them. Easier goals will be less punishing if you don't achieve them, but they are in turn less rewarding as well.
For new CT teams, it obviously isn't easy to pick goals without knowing what your team will be - so now is the time to decide which races you want to focus on, and you can then target riders in the transfers season appropriately.
Each type of goal has a cost, and every team must select 5 goals. The total goal cost must be between 14 and 23. There are also certain constraints on what type of goal you can select.

All teams must have at least 1 'Win' Goal - This means winning a classic or Stage Race outright
All teams must have exactly 1 C1 Goal
As C1 is not guaranteed, the OR Goal will be extended for CT teams
All teams must have a Team Standings Goal
No more than 1 goal per race
No more than 1 Points/KoM Goal
Note for all: The stage wins goals means stage wins. Overall race victories - be it a stage race or one day race - do not count. Stages wins during PT (wildcard) races for PCT teams do not count either.
Race Flexibility
For one of your goals, you can select 2 races (of the same goal cost) rather than 1. For example: "Top 10, Paris - Nice OR Tour of Qatar". At the end of the transfer season, you must then choose which of these two races you want to keep in your goal.
C1 Goals Flexibility for CT Teams
CT teams must have exactly 1 C1 goal, which is difficult as it`s not guaranteed for you to take part in that race. Therefore you MUST use an additional flexible OR goal on another C1 race, in which you send priority list of another 4 C1 race goals of the same goal cost where the C1 goal will move over in case you weren`t getting a spot. This doesn`t impact the one regular flexible OR goal as written above for all teams, which still can be used by CT teams.
For example:
Win C1 Gisborne GP 6
OR Win C1 Race From Priority List
- GP Izola 6
- Lillestrom GP 6
- La Tropicale Amissa Bongo 6
- Tour of Norway 6

Big thanks to Ulrich, jt, Nemolito and SotD for their roles in the new calendar. I did some work too
Also a huge thank you to redordead for single-handedly keeping the profile pages updated with results through the season and beyond.
Honestly, with little changes made to the C2 calendar (the only exception is the reintroduction of the C2HC as CT GTM) the CT calendar is more predictable. C1's calendar feature familiar events that were previously either HC or C2 which for my team and the rest of the existing CT roster will be more often than not familiar (Walonie and Portugal got the largest downgrade though).
And again I'm in a sticky situation with the goals - it will be difficult to achieve them. Last year in PCT got really lucky that the events align properly with Novak, but won't have this luxury this season (renewals outcome notwithstanding)
A couple more route notes and since I have them some preliminary planning files.
Stage Notes
PCM25 and later don’t support certain older stage features so I am gradually working through updating older routes which is why some of these changed, in addition to the usual game balance issues. Notes on HC and PTHC races are in those reveal threads.
- Franceville has a new first stage to avoid lapped riders, but finish should be similar. Stage 2 remains unchanged.
- Langkawi returns to the calendar with a short TT. Goal here is for the TT to impact the race but not define it. The queen stage featured in the 2024 Tour of America.
- All new route for the Tour of California, the climbing stage is only rated a medium mountain but in testing results were fairly selective. Overall balance should be similar.
- Some modifications to the route for the Tour of Northern Europe which should move it back towards the cobblers a little.
- All new routes for the Tour of San Luis and Vuelta al Pais Vasco, balance on both is intended to be similar to last year.
- New route for the Tour of Middle East with two mountain stage, AI didn’t handle single climbing stage races well. Middle East was chosen to survive because of the easy availability of additional stages. Will look at bringing back Eritrea in the future.
- No more prologue in Portugal and one less hilly stage.
- Dunkerque returns as a stage race, intended to be the Benelux/Tour of Northern Europe for the CT.
The table in the spoiler includes some additional detail on cobble levels in all cobbled races, can’t guarantee it is perfect but should give managers a sense. Thanks to JT for help with pulling together and a lot of the testing of route changes.

The medium mountain indicator will only appear in stages updated in PCM24 or later. That has only been done for some stages therefore the indicator will be used inconsistently. We do not believe the game play differs based on whether a stage is tagged as hill, medium mountain or mountain.
As always planning and reviewing routes remains the responsibility of the manager.
Season Planning
The file below contains an updated version of the XP calculator reflecting the changes for 2026 and preliminary versions of the PCT and CT C1+C2 selection worksheets and the planner for all divisions. These are just for information purposes, no action is required yet.
The official versions will be released later but thought these might be useful to managers who like to plan ahead. Also, wouldn’t mind some testing. Think I have represented all the rule changes, for example CT teams will be able to add PCT races as wildcards, but be good to have validation. Copying from these files into final versions should not be big deal if you do, do a lot of work in these versions. Team lists are based on what is available now.
Note the race days counts at the far right of the planner include wild card days and are intended to be used to populate the XP calculator.

The person who should not be named will take all the shame he gets
Can I get a reminder on the C2HC races - Will those be off limits for PCT team C2 race days because the races will automatically be filled by CT teams and the development teams?
