It’s not entirely clear why Mexico has a flat NC with no actual sprinters at the start, but at least it should be exciting.
With 3 km to go we’re already in the sprint preparation (for lack of a better term). On the left we have the train for Ulloa, who is the only one with a pro (Aguilar Mendez) in his train. A small bit behind are the trains for de la Cruz Chapulin, who has the best AC/SP combo, Macias, who has the best high speed, and Casillas, who is there too because everyone else is even worse.
Under the red kite Aguilar Mendez is leading out Ulloa with all competitors now in a line behind him.
Ulloa launches with 400 m to go, but that’s far from won as those behind him have a higher acceleration.
And in the end in Macias the best sprinter wins it.
