You set out to finally win the TDF and the PT, and you did both in one season. Can't get much better than that. Just great team construction built over years. Huge congratulations knockout! Excited to see where you go from here.

Congratulations knockout on a dream season. You definitely deserved to take the title with the roster you crafted and you sealed the deal with effective planning. Well done!

Big congrats, well deserved! Having every (full-time contract) rider scoring 100+ points is quite an achievement and shows your incredible depth! Even the two superstars scoring less than expected didn't matter in the end, as others jumped in - great team building, smart moves be using all the loopholes in the transfer rules, good planning - you're definitely a worthy PT winner!
Looking forward to meet you again in PT in some years, hopefully

Congrats, a shame a Latvian team treats Latvians as an afterthought though, but now that the ultimate goal has been achieved, that can change !!

Congrats mate, what a team and what an achievement to add to the always-growing list. One of the MG greats now rightly joins the list of Pro Tour winners. Nobody more deserving, you've shaped the MG world on and off the road, during the season and the off-season. As well as one of the best guys around
Spoiler Just a shame some handsome Rwandan stopped you also ticking off LBL at the same time as PT and TDF

15/08/22 - SotD said "Your [jandal's] humour is overrated"
11/06/24 - knockout said "Winning is fine I guess. Truth be told this felt completely unimportant."

Thanks guys, means a lot to me
cunego - It is very difficult as a single team can deny you. Whether you run into a team thats historically good or a strong team that just goes on a hot streak - only one team can win the title and with the salary cap it is impossible to be so far ahead of other teams that you are bad luck proofed.
Moser is that team for me, pretty sure they never won a title but they were so strong and competitive for so long that it is hard to believe. They just ran into that prime Festina team one time too often.
kandes - i had this season planned as all in season and the original plan was to go all in next season with the same core again if it would have failed. After that, we definitely need to rebuild or retool at least if another title challenge at some point is the goal. I dont think the next generation is ready to be any close to that yet as the loans of Ovsya and Herregodts make the younger core look better than they are. Of course, Plapp is a great base to start either as a centerpiece of the next generation or as a super valuable trade chip.
A Big Thank You To All MG Reporters!
