Stage 13 is the last chance for the sprinters before Madrid. 170k in to El Puig, one Cat 3 climb and a single sprint along the road.

The break’s lead goes up to over 8 minutes before Cedevita begin to work, later they get help from Aker and at the sprint point with 70k to go it is just 53 seconds between the break and the pack.

With 2.4k in the climb and 45k in the stage Uhlig and Bablidze are caught. Oliveira has just 11 seconds.

Oliveira is caught before the top but none of the KOM gladiators think the points are worth the effort so they go to sprint domestiques. Although pcmdaily.com/images/mg/2025/Micros/ced.png Chumil benefits from doing that work and picks up 2 points and move from 5th to 4th in the KOM competition.

On the right rail, Carlsberg aren’t out of it yet, they have proven to be quick finishers before.

700 meters, Siric has pulled Philipsen to the best position. Sarreau ran out of gas and Prasad is now fighting for Bohli’s wheel behind Philipsen. Van der Kooij sprinting on the right and Kragh Andersen still to lauch. Banaszek has moved over to follow the Green Jersey.
