We have three attackers today: Vainio, White and Belevics.
The break takes the first intermediate sprints. But they are caught just in time so the sprinters can go for the last one themselves.
Tivani beats Lagane and Thomas for the points. Hayakawa is beaten in 4th.
With 10 km to go we have the same five trains as in stage 3.
Under the red kite Sinclair leads the peloton, but his sprinter Lagane is a bit behind him and Hayakawa has just jumped to his wheel instead. Van Lerberghe is nearly on par though and he has Thomas right on his wheel.
Between them Nyoni leads out Korosec, Tivani, Woronieski and Eislers.
Lagane made it back to his leadout and launches his sprint with 500 m to go. Hayakawa, Tivani, Van Lerberghe and Visser are pretty much on par though.
Hayakawa has the lead with 200 m to go. Lagane, Visser and Tivani are next.
And that’s also the order at the finish line!
Kallberg and Koch are next. Eislers beats Thomas for 7th. Fredheim and Simmons complete the top 10.
Congratulations to Hayakawa who played it perfectly today!
Lagane finally takes the green jersey after fighting for points ever since.
