Stage 3 Report

Stage 3 is the second chance for the sprinters. 175 pretty flat kilometers with two sprint points along the way, but the finish is a short climb which will complicate things. No KOM points today.

The 7 attackers come together at the 150k mark. Their lead is 2’24.

The peloton is careful with the larger break and lead never goes much above 2’30. With 94k to go Van S., Uhlig and Oliveira decide a small group might do better and attack their companions.

The split doesn’t last long and they are back together at the second sprint, which they don’t contest. Oliveira takes the maximum points. The peloton is at 2’58 with 75k to go. Carlsberg, Aker, Cedevita, Spark and King Power working.
