The 2nd week ends already. This stage is rated hilly, but do not take it as easier: it’s 241 km long, with 6 categorized climbs in the middle mountains on the road to Gap, which is the highest prefecture of France (760 m). The department is well named “Hautes-Alpes”. We’re beginning the race in Marseille, on the Méditerrannée.
