Hello everybody and welcome back for the sixth ranking update of the CT division, where legends are made.
And the best team in the month of June was... Peugeot - Bancolombia! The French Colombians scored 236 points this month, mostly because of a big score in the Tour of Vancouver. Another South American team doing well were the SEE Turtles, also mostly because of a good Vancouver race. Ethiopian was the third best scoring team this month, their points came a bit from everywhere. Well, not just a bit, but exactly, from everywhere.
Back to Europe then, as Zappes Kölsch and Bianchi Enel also manage to score over 100 points this month, the only other team doing so being IncaLine. At the bottom of the table the worst scorers this month are Euskotren (57), Podium (53) and Parmalat (50). Colombia first and last!

If we look at the total rankings so far, it will come as no surprise that Bianchi stays in the lead. We do see a switch on the podium though, as Ethiopian takes over the second place from Kraftwerk, becoming the second team to score over 1.000 points this season. Most of the division stays around the same position, except for Peugeot, who see their great month/Vancouver rewarded with a nice jump from 9 to 5. That reminds me of Dolly Parton.

We do have a new individual leader! Perera in the lead with the same three Bianchi guys in the rest of the top-4 now. Galta says hello however, as he is the new number five in the individual rankings. Something tells me he can still gain a few places. An other newcomer in the top-10 is then Anthony Turgis, whereas the two guys dropping out are Buitrago and Carsi.
Fantastic feeling to have such a great month and feel like I'm in contention for a promotion push now (even if we need a few disbands or monster results). Huge congratulations again to Peugeot-Bancolombia after such a positive Vancouver and now to be in such a strong position with RDs still to come. What a strong division still at the top, as would be a fantastic battle to see 3-4 teams all breaking 1500 points still possible.
It was fun as long it lasted, now we're back to the middle class of the CT-division, and need to start preparing for another season down here. Should be fun to try challenge for promotion with an even younger squad next year
That was a bad month, with lots of racing and not lots of points.
Staying around these positions, 6-8 would be good, but that might be tough. Also next month will prove crucial, with two goal races, for next season. The fear is, holding on the team might be a bit too difficult for Lafay and Stocek alone, though their doing good jobs for now.
Thanks for the update Nemo. Will be interesting to fight the battle for the top spots, with Peugeot and the Turtles still having many RD left and big teams!
“...the secret of the Great Stories is that they have no secrets. The Great Stories are the ones you have heard and want to hear again. The ones you can enter anywhere and inhabit comfortably."

Not the best PPrD given we raced literally everything we could this month, but we're still putting points on the board and should hopefully be able to still finish in the top 5 end of season. Brilliant to see Perera top the individual rankings, he's been absolutely unreal this year. Already scored more points as a team than last year, and there's still four more months to go!
Looking at PPrD, it seems like 5 teams are about to create a gap down to the 6th best team. For the excitement, I must admit I cheer for whoever behind those top 5 to close the gap, so we get to see a thrilling second part of the season in terms of the hunt for promotion and points
A quiet month for us with only the two races so to go over 100pt is ideal
It's an interesting time in our season now as our leaders switch over from mostly Smith, Gibbons and Basso to now we are lead by Korosec and Moscon in pretty much every race bar two to the end of the season. If they can continue the good work of the former we should hold on to the title but any slip and KMM and Ethiopian are still there and the dark horse of Galta could push Peogeot passed us all!
