They made it back in the descent and a group of 60 riders enters the final climb of the race (Lai da Nalps; cat. 1; 17.3 km at 4.8 %) together. The first half of the climb is rather flat, but the second half will be hard enough to still change the GC.

The first half of the climb is uneventful and the peloton even increases in numbers. But with 7.5 km to go the steep part begins.
